I love this show! It deals with some serious things that most shows ignore like people unsure of their gender orientation and gay friendly Christians yet is still funny as hell. Amy is a sweetheart and while Lauren started out as a stereotypical Alpha Bitch she's gaining real depth. Shane still is a stereotype but I forgive him because he's hilarious yet also sweet at times.

I love this show, and I have pretty low tolerance for comedy.

Rita Volk is amazing. Not just very beautiful but also wonderfully expressive. Katie Stevens is also putting in a very good show, while working with a role that is not easy to keep likable.. And the show is tightly written. It is, all around just very good.

I have no idea where the heck they want to take it for season 2, because season one has about mined the initial premise to death. I dont mean it has become tiresome - I mean that with Karma knowing the score, there is no way it can continue.

I would call it dramedy rather than comedy. I'm not sure we are supposed to like Karma. She's kind of a self absorbed bitch and frankly I think Amy could do better with either origami nerd (Roger?) or Jasmine(?). Lousy with names, the girl she dated. She's prety and, pardon the pun, seems to have her head on straight.

Lauren on the other hand, having started as an Alpha Bitch stereotype seems headed, with her friendships with Farrah and Paolo, towards Jerk with a Heart of Gold and/or Lovable Alpha Bitch territory.

Btw, have they explained why Lauren didn't de-out them? I missed the first couple of episodes

They are on mtv's web page. Geolocked, but there are ways around that. But okay, she tried, failed, and is socially competent enough to recognize that harping on it would just make her look bad. Also, at this point she must suspect Amy at least is not faking a thing.

Noooo! Amy how could you!?!? Why couldn't you have drunk dialed Jasmine? Or if you needed to hatefuck someone how about you step-sister? Hell, Oliver in a pinch. Anyone but Hottie Doucheface! On the other hand that dance was pure distilled Awesome.

Loved that dance. Loved almost all of the entire first season. Those last 15 seconds were a terrible, terrible note to end things on. Haven't been this mad at an ending since the battlestar reboot. On the one hand, at least this isn't a series end? On the other, now I suddenly have much lower levels of trust that this show is going in any direction I want to watch.

Much though I hate the ending I can understand it. They're not really fucking each other, but Karma as well as fucking her over. It's a moment fueled by mutual anger, pain and of course alcohol. Still hope it gets interrupted by spying step-sister throwing open the door, tossing a shoe at them and yelling "What the Hell do you two think you're doing?"

FWIW it's been renewed and the upcoming season (Starts Sept 23rd) will be ten episodes instead of eight.

Okay, so Lauren is intersex. Wow.
