I have tens of thousands of songs in my library. It would be a Herculean effort to undertake, answering the question in the thread title.

Although conversely, truly distinctive chord progressions in relatively straightforward music do stand out. Wire's discography is full of them, and Sonic Youth certainly have a number of delightful riffs quite outside the usual tonal nexus.
