Go to the Lecture Building, equip all the Moon Runes and just go to town on the students.

Then go buy blood vials. Trust me, this is much faster than going for the vials themselves.

Oh really when?

I always just warp to the Cleric Beast's bell, kill the troll and two wolves on the bridge, then head down to kill the two trolls patrolling by the elevator, then reset with a Hunter's Mark. Usually at least 12 Blood Vials per run, and each takes only about a minute and a halfish at a good pace.

Go outside cainhurst. All the big guys right outside the castle are worth about 40k echos, or roughly 50 blood vials. Good farming spot.

Ah, I didn't think of just farming echoes and buying them, thanks!

...I don't think killing the monsters outside Cainhurt's an option, though. Just trying to get past one nearly drove me insane, until I realised how easy it was to run past them.

I also go to Central Yharnam if I need blood vials too. Warp to the Tomb of Oedon (where you fight Gascoigne), head to the bridge with the troll that pushes the fireball, then ride the elevator to the place under the main bridge with the two trolls patrolling, then go through the darkened residence and head to the bridge lantern. The two enemies looking at the body before you reach the lower bridge have a high chance to drop vials, I think, trolls are almost guaranteed to drop vials, there's enough enemies on the bridge itself that at least one of them usually drops a vial. The other two trolls near the elevator, again, almost guaranteed to drop vials, the pair of wolves on the main bridge are guaranteed to drop vials, and then guess what, there's another troll before the lantern.

So yeah, you can get at least 10 or so vials pretty easily there, in a run that only takes a few minutes.

I am guessing that skill weapons are the easy mode of Pv P. I finally activated my sinister bell to invade. No invasions yet, but I got invaded four times, killed them easily.

What's the weapon? Your build? Invaders are at a health penalty anyways.

Blade of Mercy +10. 25 HP and endurance. 50 skill. 10 strength, arcane, bloodtinge.

And I still was killing people hard when I invaded. I have now taken to running away naked and leaving a trail of coins through enemies. I stop and wave whenever they get caught up.

The watchdogs weakness is its leg's, Shu....

Also, I can't be the only one who finds the Kirkhammer to be somewhat of a broken weapon for the main game?

Every heavy attack stun locks most enemies, even a few bosses, and the damage it does is extremely high in said mode.

So anyone hear anything about that supposed DLC?

I really wanna have something to do in the game but I just sorta beat it too hard and now I'm bored.

I haven't actually been on it in a long time. I got up to the Forbidden Wood on NG+, then left it for a while, then I started a totally new game but only did half of Central Yharnam before just stopping again.

I feel like I should keep going just so that when the DLC does land, I'm ready to go straight into it.

Bit disappointing that New Game Plus doesn't change anything in the game. If there was one thing Dark Souls II did well, it was keeping stuff fresh in NG+.

I thought it was a bit hit and miss in Dark Souls II, personally. I liked stuff like the extra enemies in the Lost Sinner boss fight, but then there's bits that pissed me off, like the extra red phantom on the bridge to Drangleic Castle, which was already a shitty bit with those two mammoth fucks on the (relatively) narrow bridge anyway. Did it really need another enemy to make it even more of a ballache? No.

Trailer for the upcoming DLC, which is announced for November.

I love the new longbow-type weapon.

I guess I'm playing this game again now then :P I already started a fresh playthrough a while back, but didn't get far at all. I really hope the Eileen questline works out for me this time :/

Getting some serious The Silver Key by H. P. Lovecraft vibe right here. Seriously, the Dream Cycle stories are perfect inspirations for video games. Thanks FromSoftware for doing that with Bloodborne.

New weapons:

  • A greatbow/possibly a twinblade trick weapon.
  • A sword-and-shield duo that look like mirrors.
  • A flail / blunt whip weapon.
  • A polehammer with a flint at the end that explodes every time it hits.
  • A stone pick on a very long pole.
  • Beast claws now ACTUALLY turn you into a beast.
  • A GODDAMN CHAINSAW PIZZA CUTTER.
  • New magic.

My hype is in orbit.

I kinda wanna get it but I'm wanna save money for Christmas presents. Also I sorta forgot the game existed.

Well, apparently, it's even more of a crapsack world then the main game, which really says something.
