Oh, they know what they're doing all right. It's just a choice we don't agree with.
It's a choice that won't work well for the majority of customers, although they clearly think otherwise. Unfortunately, this happens a lot at companies. They think they know what the best option is, but in most cases, they're not as knowledgeable as they let on.
They're pushing for something they want. That's... just how it is. Things may change someday, but it'll probably be a long time from now.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.But just off the top of my head for films in this decade with solo female leads Gravity made 675 million dollars, and Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland literally made a billion dollars. All of the Hunger Games films were pretty successful too. The last one was the least successful, but the first three were all basically as successful as Wonder Woman or in the case of the second one moreso, and the series overall made almost 3 billion dollars combined.

When was the last time CN did that to promote a movie?
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I haven't been paying super close attention to the channel's schedule, but it looks like the Teen Titans reruns have been expanded to play during more reasonable 3:00 and 3:30 PM slots on top of the morning slots.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Yes in the super hero genre. Cause if its movies in general that would be bullshit considering off the top of my head the many horror films in the past; especially the Alien and A Nightmare on Elm Street series who are known for having female heroes.
Now solo female comic book films, yeah, a lot of those movies sucked hard and failed spectacularly at the box office. This includes Supergirl, Red Sonja, Barb Wire, Tank Girl, Catwoman, and Elektra as examples of how unsuccessful. Thankfully Wonder Woman didn't follow that path and ended up a great film.

Instead of bunching things up to do one week of five new episodes for one show, it's going to be one new episode per week for Teen Titans Go!, We Bare Bears, The Amazing World of Gumball, OK K.O., and Ben 10 (albeit, it's being treated as a part of its own block instead of being grouped with everything else.) Steven's evidently still sticking to the bombs though, and I have no idea where Mighty Magiswords is.
General thoughts? Hopefully this equalizes the ratings for shows across the board and helps get us strides closer to that oft-wanted schedule variety.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaFinally, the schedule I been pining for for months.
Good. Never understood the whole appeal of Thursdays since they created Har Har Thursday.
Also hope Mighty Magiswords get more airtime. I like that show.

My God I love We Bare Bears but it's like the most plug-worthy show CN has right now.
Give us more of the other DC shows.
Well, we now know that Cartoon Network will be acknowledging its silver anniversary.
A special program will be coming to the Paley Center for Media in New York and Los Angeles.
"Celebrating 25 years of creativity - well, only the last 7 years, really."
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Oh! Oh!! Snap!! Ooh!! Oh wow!
Better than nothing.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?not sure if i'm doing this right.
i highly doubt this. due to cartoon network neglecting its shows from time to time, i wouldn't really bet on them just making more dc shows or airing them more often. they're a business after all, a bullcrap business but a business none the less.
do some petitions and make it clear to cartoon network but expect your vocal cries to either be mocked or ignored. such is my cynical view on the western cartoon industry.

MIAWell, there's DC Super Hero Girls coming next year. . .
Did anyone get a load of the mid-show bumpers they were using for Labor Day? I didn't think they could find a way to make the Titans more obnoxious. No, they had them outright YELL "LAYBOOR DAAAY!!1!" in the midst of the show's audio.
Not even Spongebob's inappropriate laughter during his bumpers was that garish.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefThat's probably because Spongebob's laugh is muted during...
Noticeable, but not districting.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.For what it's worth, I found a video debunking a lot of the misconceptions around Christina Miller:
All the people blaming her for ruining the network need to watch that. Seriously, she gets more hate from the internet cartoon fan community than the post-movie Spongebob writers. Also, good on pointing out that Snyder got the same sort of crap leveled at him. In comes the new boss, same as the old boss.

Somebody give this guy a medal, because he's hit the nail pretty hard.
Now let's vent our frustration regarding the abysmal schedule on Vishnu Athreya!!!!
Or how about we stop looking for one person to attack and not get ourselves overly worked up over it?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
x2 Pretty much what Blueace said.
Honestly this year is the perfect year for DC in terms of their comics, movies, cartoons and tv show. DC Rebirth continues to be loved by fans where ANAD Marvel seemedto fail. Wonder Woman break a lot grounds for being both the first successful female solo film and the firsr DCEU film to be universally positive among audience. Justice League Action is a really good show and the animated movies (Justice League Dark, Teen Titans Judas Contract, Batman & Harley, Batman vs. Two Face) all are promising films. And the recent season of Arrow was great (not to mention that upcoming Black Lightning show).
Really a shame that CN isn't taking full advantage of DC's latest animation. No wonder Warner Bros is giving them their own steming service.
