Hmmm... Souta's also Hakua's brother too, right? I mean, he saw her flags, but not Nanami's. I guess living sheltered life lowered their familiarity with each other, causing Souta to see her flags easily? In addition, because of virtual world hijinks, was Hakua really that sheltered in real life?

My guess is he can only see the flags of virtual people. Nanami had dived in to save him, so she's not actually virtual and thus has no flags.

Now I'm wondering.... What would Souta's actual family name be like? Is he like Souta F Bladefield? Souta Flagraiser Bladefield? Please tell me the author thought it down the line.
