Yes, Nickelodeon is overhated.
To quote a friend on tumblr:
"Many people from my generation, including me, grew up on shows like Nickelodeon’s Ren and Stimpy and Rocko’s Modern Life. Years after, we enjoyed Cartoon Network’s Billy and Mandy, Chowder, and Flapjack.
Y’know what they all had in common? A constant reliance on gross-out humor and shock value. And y’know what? We loved them for it.
So why are most of those very people hating today’s shows like Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, and Uncle Grandpa for having gross-out/shock humor, when it’s the exact same type of humor we grew up with?

A lot of modern Nickelodeon cartoons aren't so bad if you let go of your stupidly high standards for kids' animation and remember that a lot of Nick shows were like that back in the day.
