maybe Iona didn't become Ru's LRIG because of her wish, but because of her condition. maybe Iona's condition was to find an appropiate selector for when she became a LRIG and so , she would automatically become said selector's LRIG and said selector happened to be Ruuko

So the main reason for the tournament was to fulfill Iona's wish of becoming Ruko's LRIG. It was one big gamble, but she knew Ruko would make it to the top.
And even though she lost, she was hoping that Tama would be unwilling to go through with Ruko's wish. And that happened. Not sure which gambit to classify this as. Or if Iona's a Magnificent Bitch...

Well that certainly happened. Hitoe just willed her friends back. Sure, why not. Three people vying for something big in one duel. It was pretty obvious Ruuko wasn't going to get anywhere. Unspoken Plan Guarantee exists for a reason. I was expecting something a bit more apocalyptic though. Iona becoming Ruuko's LRIG was definitely interesting. Now I have no idea what direction Spread is going to go.

I guess Iona invoking her wish meant they didn't finish the game? Ruko lost twice already I think, so she probably didn't lose. Or did Ruko lose and she just became a Selector again(like Hitoe) immediately bc of Iona's wish?
I would assume this would be a problem for Ruko as Iona probably wouldn't accept her wish

I don't recall Ruuko ever losing. I'm pretty sure Ruuko won her game against Iona, but Iona had already won enough to fulfill her wish, she just seemed have wanted someone to beat her first before having Ulith grant it. It's possible Iona's wish is to become the LRIG of whoever defeats her, that is, Ruuko.
Yuzuki brought up earlier that some LRIG have powers beyond most, so they can grant wishes the Selector wouldn't be able to. Ruuko thinks Tama is one, but I'm thinking Ulith is one as well.
At a guess, I'd say that LRIGs that originated as LRIGs have some extra abilties over the system. Which definitely includes Tama, and I have questions about Ulith and Piriluk as well

I have to admit..Yuzuki is pretty entertaining as a LRIG. I was expecting them to run into her old LRIG, but they didn't.
I think the yuri is just bc it's less dark....so far. I don't expect this to last to long. I like the new girl, even if does look like a refugee from either DWMA or New Hell.
It's pretty obvious Ruko will battle again to save Tama. I wonder if they are smart enough to keep Hitomi out of it? It would make the most sense, OTOH, I kinda wanna see Yuzuki fight.
Aki-Lucky should help, she's pretty amusing.

Chiyori is fun. And her excuse for missing the finale was funny. Iona is still doing her thing. Ruuko and Hitoe are trying to not do their thing. That won't last. I'm amused that once again they're making it look a bit lighter until things go dark later on.

One thing I'm not sure I get...
Iona's wish is to become Ruko's LRIG...doesn't make sense. Considering how eternal girls have worked so far, what happens is your LRIG fulfills the wish for you, and you as the selector, becomes a LRIG to fulfill someone else's wish. Considering that Iona's wish(Her wish that she wants Ulith to grant) is to become Ruko's LRIG, then won't Ulith become Ruko's LRIG instead?
