Fixed thread title. For future reference, don't put spaces in the article title.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenThanks!
Most people don't upload that many images at once, but since you did, we might as well crowner this and put the losers all in an Image Links page. So, good job.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I think most of those are pretty JAFAAC-like, as they illustrate neither awesome nor practical. The battleship comes the closest to showing awesome. The rest you just have to know. On the other hand, it's not like most people wouldn't know what most of those are. The sunglasses could work, since those are definitely practical, and are often a symbol for being awesome.
Check out my fanfiction!I agree. With the possible exception of the battleship, these suggestions are just snapshots of random objects that are neither awesome nor practical.
Personally, I think the battleship is good, too. If anyone can find more "awesome" images of the things listed in the first post, put them on and we'll take a look.
I like the battleship. I think the issue here is going to be that a lot of stuff in Real Life counts as Awesome Yet Practical (in some people's eyes) so a lot is going to be a) opinion or b) too general for other people to notice as such.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDefine "awesome". The Real Life examples are full of mundane stuffs that I would never consider "awesome", but obviously some other people does.
I kind of think Pizza would resonate with just about every troper here...
Tried to find more awesome pictures of the things I mentioned in the above post:

I like the battleship and the M14.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseIt's an M1 Carbine, actually.
While battleships are unquestionably awesome, there's some debate about how practical they were.

Actually, no. I was thinking of the M1 Garand.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseThis trope is not about "things that I like that are practical", so things like pizza are Not An Example of this trope. Rather, "awesome" refers to "things that look cool and flashy".
So I think the best example here is the gold car: it's clearly not a normal car, but it's practical in that it still works.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I think the sunglasses are better than the car. The car just looks gaudy.
Check out my fanfiction! The car wouldn't be practical, because gold is soft and would scratch easily.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseHow about Smith's angular shades from the Matrix sequels? Sunglasses are very practical and I think that particular design is one of the more awesome ones I've seen. If we wanted to, we could do a collage of, say, his, Morpheus', Trinity's, and possibly the Twins.

Ok, point taken about the car, but the sunglasses in post 1 aren't awesome; they're just ordinary sunglasses.
Perhaps the suggestion about The Matrix could work.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Sunglasses, even ordinary ones, are often a sign of someone being cool. Which is close enough to awesome.
Check out my fanfiction!I agree with him. I think just having sunglasses is not enough.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseI have a couple of ideas but no time to work on them right now...I'll try to get something knocked out tonight.
I personally also like the Battleship and the Gold Car, too.
I don't think the AKM pic should be included, although YMMV on that-although the AKM rifle looks awesome with them modifications, it's simple to operate too-however, a load of gun lovers would argue that the modifications are cumbersome and most aren't really necessary.
The M1 Carbine pic-hmmmm. The Scope makes it look cool, yet it is also practical and makes up for the Carbine's range issue at 150 yards or so. The M1 Carbine also was possibly the first PDW too, and it was built for functioning well-but not spectacularly at all ranges.
However, I think the general consensus is either the Battleship or Sunglasses.
Also, I picked that image for Smith's sunglasses, as I could put a caption saying "Those shades can even make holding up two pills look cool." Or something like that. And I like that collage idea.

There is absolutely no way a gold car can be practical.

What image would be best for the page?
I mean, there is no image on that page. Awesome yet Impractical, Boring yet Practical and Simple yet Awesome all have images, yet that one still doesn't have one. I think an image from real life would be good, so I suggest finding the pictures of one of these: Gold, Fire, A 3D Printer, A Battleship, The Lee-Enfield rifle, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine or the AKM, A Sandwich, Pizza, Sunglasses, Combat Boots, The M1911 (in a shiny finish), Peanut Butter or Tea. Some examples:
