Well, I'd suggest you get a good idea for a story you feel confident in before you plunge into writing. Welcome to the thread, by the way.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. The potential title, for the record: "A Wintry Night On Bald Mountain".
I mean, c'mon, surely there's no way I could possibly screw up Elsa vs Chernabog, right? ...Right?
Sounds good. Would you be developing any narrative around that or would the whole thing just be an extended battle sequence?
I gave Chernabog a cameo in my fanfic, by the way. I'd considered referencing him by name, but I ended up going for the subtlety angle with it.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. So, anyone read my linked stories?
A really blatant Excuse Plot would be about it.
No. What are you selling?
Firstly, Let Me Die. A written song parody, based on something with Agent Coulson of Agents Of Shield. I am evil.
Secondly, How To Write A Frozen Fanfiction. I make fun of various cliches in Frozen fanfiction, hopefully lovingly. I have not gotten any hate yet. I've done it for Gravity Falls characters and I decided to branch out to Frozen for fun.
Any criticism for my stories?
Alrighty, finished the overhaul I mentioned. Here's a highlight of the important stuff you need to know about this:
- The big thing I did was remove the prophecy. It's nuked. Gone. Retconned out of existence with extreme prejudice. As author of the fanfic, I will be the first to say I hated the prophecy. It was cliche and dumb and made the story too convoluted, and the fact that I can remove it so cleanly without having to change anything but a few snippets of dialogue is a testament to how stupid and useless it was. The reason the prophecy existed in the first place was because I, bless my heart, originally thought this story was gonna be a lot shorter, so I saw nothing wrong with bashing my reader over the head with the entire freaking plot right from chapter 4. Also, there was a troll prophecy in some early version of Frozen, so there was precedent. But in hindsight I realize sometimes ideas are cut from movies for a reason.
- The other thing I did was fix up some continuity errors and try to fit this in more smoothly with the end of the movie, as I mentioned before. When I first started writing this thing, I was not aware the Frozen screenplay was posted on the internet. Yeah, I felt pretty stupid when I finally found that out 45 chapters in.
- Also I tidied up the writing a bit. If you're lurking on this thread and you haven't gotten around to reading my story before, now is a really really good time to give it a shot. The first couple chapters are as polished as they've ever been, so I don't have to tell you something like "The story really picks up around chapter 7!" anymore. I'm way more confident that the early chapters don't suck.
- Also I slipped in a reference to Phantoms of Arendelle here, so... high-fives to all the people out there who spent money on the Frozen books clearly intended for small children!

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. You'll be getting some deja vu from this author's note.
By the way, I nominate that, in honor of the latest OUAT episode, we call what happened to Klaus and Anders "pulling a Hans."
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon....
I have read many, many Frozen fanfics since joining the fandom. Many of which send Anna and Elsa to the depths of despair, many which have horrible stuff happen to them, even a few where Elsa actually has accidentally killed people.
This fic is the first to make me feel hopeless for a happy resolution, even when I know one will be coming. I tip my hat to you, spash.
I'm actually getting a little disheartened by all the people just assuming the story won't have an extremely upbeat, happy feel-good ending. I mean, I want to write Evil Elsa because it's such a cool idea, not because it's depressing!
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Evil Elsa is depressing. Like, very.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Yeah, but it's also awesome. Besides, there can be these "oh no how will the heroes win" moments without guaranteeing the story's going to have a bleak, depressing ending.
And really, I think depriving readers of "Elsa-Anna-sisterly-love-fluff" for a while will make it even sweeter when it happens again.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Alright, let's think about this Frozen: 40000 thing.
Both sisters are augmented humans (much like Luther or Kor Phaeron) that the Vlka Fenryka just love so much that Elsa is Jarlessa of the 12th Great Company? They came about when their tribe was wiped out by a Chaos-infested tribe, and they would have died too if Leman Russ and his merry warband hadn't happened upon the scene? And Russ adopted the two of them? And Elsa's exposure to the Warp (er, "maleficarum") is what gives her powers? And this is why she's powerful enough to lead an entire company of rock-hard Space Wolves?
And because I'm starting to feel ambitious here, it's a reworking of Prospero Burns, but instead of spending a lot of time on Kasper Hawser, the Frozen sisters take his place? Elsa and Anna replaces (or perhaps supplements) Othere Wyrdmake and Amlohdi Skarsenson when they go to link up with the Thousand Sons, and it's a conflict between the Legion that adopted them vs the Legion that can show Elsa how to truly come into her powers?
And Hans is a Tzeentch pawn?

As someone unfamiliar with Warhammer, I think I literally didn't understand a single thing you just said.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I understood only the final line, to which my response is, "isn't EVERYBODY a Tzeentch pawn? Including Tzeentch himself?"

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon....hmm. Reason and Logic win the day.
EDIT: Can I just say that I love Admiral Klaus? He's an antagonist without being a "bad guy". He's simply doing what he thinks is best for Arendelle, is willing to stand up to the Queen, and is honestly hoping thatbshe can do great things for Arendelle.

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver! So I discovered Ice on the Rhine. As much as I love Alternate History, though, I definitely got an 1840s-1850s vibe from Frozen. In other words, if Arendelle is an Alternate History Norway, Boney would be Agthar's problem, not Elsa's. Heck, the only war that involved a Scandinavian country in the Real Life time period was the Prussian-Austrian attack on Denmark in 1864.

Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.Spash, I don't want to rush you or anything, but when's the nest chapter coming out?
need my fix man i need my fix
Today. My class was canceled, so I've got no excuse not to get it finished (By the way, the reason it's taken a bit longer than usual is video games).

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon....it looks like the story's winding down. This makes me sad.
Sequel?
Hrm. Just saw Frozen last night. Binged this thread over the course of today, but did not check out external links for fics. Yet.
You guys (except NDC and Night, who only appeared twice or so) probably don't know of me unless you read a lot of Evangelion fic. <Beat> Actually, you probably don't know of me even if you DO read a lot of Evangelion fic.
I've had a couple of potential Frozen ideas today, all but the latest of which are objectively garbage. So I won't go into those.
I think the last one might have a little potential, though.
All I have for it is a title that pretty much explains the premise.
Interested?
