As tales of old tell, there once existed a realm known as Ipsum. Long time ago, a powerful civilization that knew answers to all questions lived there, unperturbed by neither Death, War, Famine or Pestilence. Its rulers, chosen as the wisest of their kind, knew how to defend their paradise against those who wished to disturb or destroy it.

Countless generations of Evil tried to finally topple over the wise men of Ipsum, but none had succeeded. Through centuries the kingdom was safe from harm... but everything has to end one day.

Abyss finally took visit to the miraculous realm, perturbed by its energy. The Queen of the Damned couldn't stand the happiness, the bliss of Ipsum. It hurt her. It drove her insane. And so she gave an order for her children: raze Ipsum down. Raze it to the foundation. That they did. Not a stone left after an illusion of safety that broke like a dry tree branch. No force could stand up to the terror, the fear, the despair that Abyss created, mad from revelations of Ipsum.

Fast forward many thousand years later. In year 2010 humanity prospers in relative bliss, aware of both Angels and Luciferians, two sides constantly battling for domination of ethereal plane and the one of the mortals. The one side that would crush the opposition would have a free access to humanity as they pleased. Angels wished to guide it. Luciferians - to erase it. In search for ways of finally getting an upper hand against their adversaries, daemonic wise men studied ancient books of old throughly, searching for an answer. Two words kept repeating themselves ad infinitum: Ipsum and Abyss.

However, there might be hope before a lesser evil unleashes a bigger one. The last man of Ipsum called for help. Various individuals from across the multiverse answered. Some of them wished to genuinely help. Some of them had their own goal in aiding this quest. Then finally some of them planned to use the ancient powers of lost civilizations for themselves... are you one of them, I wonder?

Hello, folks.

I'm not that big on technicalities, so let me put it as simple as possible: I welcome you in Crossover RP where you shall be one of the many heroes or maybe villains from across the multiverse. The quest in which you have to fight evil before it unleashes something it can't quite comprehend that might consume the entire Earth.

Due to my limited time I can't disclose technical rules to you just now, so for now I'm content with people declaring their interest or asking questions for any cases that they prove worrisome.

In any case, I really hope that first and foremost we will have fun. :)

Answering questions presented piece by piece:

  • My plan was to gather players in groups of four. Every group would be independent from the other and might even clash with one another.
  • Characters "summoned" are fully-aware of the fact that they are summoned rather than to be left in the dark. Other than that I'm still planning how to carry this out and I'm open for any suggestions.
  • Both PVP and PVGM will be present.

And for now, a base for character sheets:
  • Name: Self-explanatory. If there's no name applicable, apply a codename/how people refer to the character.
  • Age: Also self-explanatory. Considering policies regarding loli characters, please be considerate.
  • Universe: Where the char comes from. OC's are acceptable.
  • Personality: How's the character like from the inside. What makes them tick, what do they like and hate.
  • Personal Appearance: A link is sufficient. If they're an OC and there's no pic available, provide a detailed description instead.
  • Powers/Abilities: What said character can do. Everything that can be considered useful counts, from sewing to magic.
  • Equipment: If they have any piece that is necessary for them, describe it here.
  • Alignment: Choosing between White, Gray and Black for heroes, neutrals and villains respectively.
  • Backstory: A few sentences describing the character. Include the moment of their invitation by the man of Ipsum. Remember, all characters have accepted the offer.
  • Other: Anything you think should be added, but doesn't fit other categories.

As for Super Weight, keep a character up to Weight 3. Anything above might make things a bit too easy for you. That being said, I advise against picking -1 and 0 unless they can handle their own in the fray: there's gonna be plenty of action.

If you want to use a character stronger than that you can depower them to a good enough level. This can be later Hand Waved by saying that travels through multiverse do bring the most random of effects into light.

[up] I'd rather have it that way, but OC's are acceptable. Just not too many of them. ^^;

Alrighty then! I'll go first:

Name: Sheik (Zelda)

Age: 26 (?)

Universe: The Legend of Zelda (Twilight Princess)

Personality: Stoic and poetic, Sheik prefers to remain a mystery than to get too close to people. While generally stone-faced, she is very concerned about the wellbeing of her friends and allies, and will approach others directly if she finds something amiss. Despite her best efforts, aspects of her true identity—such as a refined taste and a disgust for filth—bleed out into her regular interactions.

Personal Appearance: [1]

Powers/Abilities: As a fully-trained Sheikah, Sheik is a very quick, flexible, and stealthy fighter, preferring to strike from the shadows rather than the open. She carries a dagger on her back as well as plenty of throwing needles and deku nuts. While Princess Zelda can use several spells, she limits her persona's abilities to divert attention; all she can do is disappear in a puff of smoke to escape. For non-combat abilities, Sheik is an avid harp player; she is bound to play some songs in her free time.

Equipment: Sheik carries a harp and a dagger on her back, a sturdy chain roughly two meters long, and plenty of throwing needles and deku nuts. Considering the time when she is summoned to Ipsum, Sheik/Zelda will not have the Triforce of Wisdom.

Alignment: Sheik pretends to be somewhere in the grey, but anyone who pays attention for two seconds will know she's a goody-goody.

Backstory: It is a time of peace for Hyrule. After the castle's destruction and the chaos wrought by Ganon, Zelda and her allies began the long journey to rebuild their shattered kingdom. Roads through the four main provinces were fortified, which led to a growth in Hyrule's trade. Prince Ralis and Patriarch Darbus received Zelda's personal help in restoring order, which helped weave a bond that had become threadbare in recent years. As Hyrule Castle inched closer to its former glory, Princess Zelda received a distressing message from a faraway kingdom. She had never heard of "Ipsum" before, but the desperate plea scorched her heart; she too, had once felt helpless as her kingdom burned—she could not allow that to plague someone else. Donning the garb of a nearly dead tribe, the princess of Hyrule left her kingdom to become the Chosen Hero she once needed herself.

The Maid

First of two possible characters... and seeing the one on top, this should be interesting.

  • Name: Link
  • Age: 17
  • Universe: Hyrule
  • Personality: Link is a hardworking and courageous girl. Which is not to say that she feels no fear... but that instead, she has chosen to keep going despite them. A tomboy since birth that although not uncomfortable with her femininity has always felt more comfortable in typically masculine fashion and plays. While growing up she was a big dreamer, losing herself in worlds of fantasy to help her cope with the loss of both her parents. Then again, she never was too lonely as she had the support and companionship of everyone in her town. On relaxed occasions she can be a bit goofy and bright, though when things get serious she shows herself to be implacable and determined. She's one to get frustrated with inaction and thus is one of the first to step up to do what's needed. Although she puts on a brave face, she's currently wrecked with a lot of insecurity, which while she doesn't let it stop her does gnaw at her confidence.
  • Personal Appearance: Link is a young woman of an elfin build and 1,67 meters of height. She has pure, blue colored eyes and short dirty blonde hair reaching down to her shoulders. Her ears are sharp and elongated when compared to those of a human, with a pair of earrings on them... one on the lobe and the other higher on it. She dresses in the standard attire of the hero, wearing sturdy leather boots, light beige trousers, beige long sleeved shirt, a chain shirt over it and a green tunic over that. On her hands she wears leather half gloves and vambraces. Around her waist there is a belt from the which hang a wide variety of pouches and from shoulder to waist there is strap which holds the sheath of her sword and her shield. To finish the outfit, upon her head there is a green cap. She also wears a simple mask to cover her face with vaguely humanoid features painted into it.
  • Powers/Abilities: Link is a strong and fit woman, whose equipment complements her fighting skills. She knows sword fighting with a long blade and a shield, how to use a bow with good aim, climbing and riding. She knows how to cook and sew as well as a good number of ceremonial dances. She can play the flute moderately well. She can swim though not for too long without specialized equipment. Being raised in a farming village, she knows how to take care of all kinds of farm animals, crops and how to make milk and cheese as well as other products.
  • Equipment:
    • Pouches of Storing: An often ignored part of the heroic getup, Link has several pouches whose insides are a lot bigger than the outside. At the moment she holds her large wallet, a bomb bag capable of holding up to 30 bombs, a quiver that can hold 60 arrows and a larger pouch on the back where she can store her weapons and other items.
    • Fairy Bow: An enchanted bow on which arrows fired from it hit harder than normal and can travel a lot farther.
    • Bombs: A bunch of round bombs which can be thrown or rolled at enemies. Produces a medium sized blast when they explode.
    • Salamander's Bone Earring: An red earring Link wears at all times, which lessens the damage fire does to her and protects her from being ill affected by heat.
    • Bremen Mask: A bird like visor that allows Link to make animals follow her.
    • Ceremonial Mask: A simple wooden mask with the simple representation of a human face to serve no greater purpose than hiding her face and used in ceremonial dances.
    • Hylian Shield: A metal shield taken from a slain knight. Has the crest of her homeland inscribed upon it.
    • Grapple Hook: A piece of rope with a magical metallic claw on the end. The claw can hold onto things to grab at distant things or grab onto ledges, cliffs or trees to allow Link to swing on the rope or climb.
    • Three Bottles: One full of red potion which heals wounds, one of nutritious Lon Lon Milk which helps one recover from wounds over a longer period of time and one with a trapped fairy which has the power to bring back someone from the edge of death.
    • Ceremonial Robes: Link's old clothes of beige robes with red trims and the symbols of the Triforce and the legends of the Hero painted on it.
    • Lordo's Memento: A necklace traditional of the Lordo people, a memento of home.
    • Fairy Flute: A flute able to play magical songs. So far, Link only knows the Royal Song which grants access to sealed locales by the Goddesses of Hyrule and the Rain Song, which when such weather is possible makes it rain. By playing it backwards, Link can make rain stop.
    • Bracers of Goron Strength: A pair of golden rings that Link wields around her wrists which severely increase her strength, allowing her to hit harder with her blade and carry heavy loads.
    • Rune Sword: The magical blade Link picked up in a moment of desperation. This is a mysterious blade of silvery blue non reflective metal, with strange markings running the length of the edge. A magical and resilient sword whose greatest ability is the crossing of boundaries. It's the blade that drew the Ipsum man to Link. Once she learns magic, she can use its energies to make short ranges hops of minor teleportation.
  • Alignment: White
  • Backstory: Link was a simple, young girl of the small Lordo village of one of the many eras of the history of Hyrule, where the worship of the Hero of Hyrule was only second to that within Hyrule's Castle. Losing her parents at an early age to monsters of the forest, Link was raised by the village elder immersed in tales of the Hero who saved the realm in the past and the prophecies of another Hero that will rise at Hyrule's greatest hour of need. Link, more than anything in the village took such stories to heart, wishing to one day meet such a hero and be of help to him. With the boys of town she played at being knights and warriors and sometimes even the Hero himself... with the girls, she practiced the ceremonial dances and music of their festivals in honor of the Hero. However, times grew darker and darker... and more danger swept through the lands of Hyrule, seemingly coming out of nowhere. And yet, the Hero never appeared. One day, as band of monsters came to town, passing through their defenses at bridges, walls and the like the entire town despaired and prayed for the Hero to arrive... Nobody rose to defend the town, certain in the appearance of the Hero. Link herself shared their prayers... but at the decisive moment, when all hope seemed lost she alone took action. Running away, she made her way to the Shrine of the Hero... where the ceremonial armor of the Hero rested as well as an altar with a blade meant for him when he finally appeared. She hastily donned the armor and took the only weapon around with an apology. Putting on her ceremonial mask to hide her appearance, Link finally made her way back to town... to a vision of terror and destruction. She was afraid of the monsters... she who lost her family to them more than anyone. But the thought of losing her home and the beloved people within was far more scary... and from such fear, grew her courage. A novice to formal battle, she still fought with all she had... and was surprised when at the end of things, she was still alive... and all monsters slain. She turned back, still wearing her mask and found her people not recognizing her clad in the clothes of the Hero. With a knot in her throat, she said not a word to them as they reverently gave her their thanks... until the village elder, the woman that had raised her came forward, recognizing the mask the Hero wore as that of her beloved Link. Yet, she didn't reveal the truth... but with tears in her eyes she took Link's hands and told her of three ancient ruins where she ought to go. Someone has to bring the blade Link wielded back its power she explained. Finally, she handed her a necklace so that she may remember her home even as she's away and bid her goodbye. Link herself is unsure if she's the Hero or not... when thinking the former she just thinks she's doing what she ought to do... when the later, she justifies herself by saying that the Hero has it hard enough saving the land. She's just helping him along by giving his sword the power it needed and saving him some small time. After what happened in the village, Link traveled to the three ruins her foster mother pointed her to, going through a lot of hardships and trials to recover three jewels that on an ancient temple gave her Rune blade its magic back. It was then when she met the Man of Ipsum... who told her she could get the strength and battle evil on a new land to eventually save her own. Agreeing to go with him only after a long moment of hesitation, she was brought to the modern era.
  • Other: I do hope for Link to obtain more gadgets and abilities as the game progresses... perhaps eventually being able to bring forth the legendary Master Sword. In the meantime, she wields her Rune Sword.

[up] Wolverine and Envy's immortalities are different. Wolverine just does not die, whilst Envy will eventually run out of stones to regenerate from. I remember suggesting to the guy playing him on Infinities to say that the multiversal travel nerfed him somewhat, in that he doesn't have that many stones, and as a result can't survive fatal injuries. Would that be acceptable?

@Scorpio: Both seem like they can do fine, though personally I'd be more partial to S.Mercury. Is your choice though, seeing as both are sentient and can cooperate.

@Strato: I guess that can work. From what I understand those stones are exhausted whenever Envy suffers a great wound, right? If their amount was limited, I see no problem with him as long as said regen isn't outrageously rapid.

@BB: If the room allows for it(i.e we don't know all identities of a character), then I see no problem for it.

Alright, second character for consideration done.

  • Name: Queen Scira
  • Age: 6 months, however she possesses within herself the knowlege and maturity of a full adult by human standards.
  • Universe: Starcarft II - Koprulu Sector
  • Personality: Scira is a Zerg Queen, which makes her thought processes and motivations lightly different from those of others. Her priorities are in order, complete subservience of the Swarm and its Master, the propagation of the Zerg race and the strengthening of it as a whole. However, without a connection to the Swarm and its current ruler Kerrigan and any kind of swarm, Scira feels highly lost and bereft of purpose. Cut off from the swarm, most Zerg would go feral without direction... but as a Queen she had inklings of sentience within her and the entirety of the Zerg genome within her. Seeing no other alternative, Scira evolved from a regular Queen, obtaining true sentience in order to deal with the challenges of surviving in her new environment. As she is right now, she is quite concerned with not bringing aggression to herself and her own... evolving thought processes more fitting for negotiations and mixing and matching genetic code for her singular situation. As all Zerg she appreciates and venerates strength, testing herself and her own against the hardest of situations as long as there is no risk of being completely terminated. She has a singular devotion and appreciation for the memory of Kerrigan, which in her new states extends as an unusual interests in the human race that served as her base.
  • Personal Appearance: The Queen
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • True Zerg: Being birthed from the Swarm with minerals and chemicals not found in common society, Scira is made of tougher stuff than most regular organics in the planet. Her skin and carapace are resistant to damage as armor plating would be and she's quite strong and fast. She's able to shoot spines at long distances from her back, which is her primary means of defense. She also has latent psionic abilities, which is how she communicates with either humans or more keenly, with her brood.
    • Mother of the Brood: As a Zerg Queen, Scira has within herself the genetic code necessary to birth forth a new Swarm... granted the necessary resources. Unfortunately for her, the particular minerals and gas which allow the marvelous technologies used by the Terran and Protoss in the Koprulu Sector are also ingested and used by the Zerg to be able to birth their incredibly resilient and effective bodies. And these materials are extremely rare to be found naturally on Earth. Thus, to her despair, Scira must mix and match the genetic code of her brood, making inferior versions of the Zerg with the materials readily available at hand. At the very least, she can produce without those minerals the Creep necessary to feed both herself and her children. And in this hard time, she might start to experiment with producing new creatures with her limited resources. If she was granted in some form or another the minerals she needs, she could create true Zerg like herself... and such resources would be a great way to tempt and control the Queen.
  • Equipment: None.
  • Alignment: Grey.
  • Backstory: Scira is a rather young Queen, given birth for the very purpose of helping the Man of Ipsum on his war. When the man approached Kerrigan, the Queen of Blades was still embroiled in the greatest war for the survival of her species against the Void. Thus she could not assist the man... however, with her new humanity she did take sympathy in his plea and let a single one of her own to follow the path to Earth. A Queen egg, nearly ready to hatch... given more genetic code than usual and instructed by Kerrigan with the sole instruction to do the Swarm proud... and fight against the menace the man of Ipsum issued. The young Queen could barely understand these instructions in her gestation... however, deep within her, there they lie.
  • Other: The Queen may need to be handled by a science type of character... perhaps Dark or Neutral in alignment to keep her under control as she tries to grow her abilities and swarm. At some moment, she may grow a more humanoid body to make maneuvering the city easier.

• Name: Ami Mizuno / Sailor Mercury

• Age: 18

• Universe: Sailor Moon

• Personality:

Ami started out as an introverted loner, being shunned by the other kids for her higher than average intellect. This lessened significantly after she finally made some actual friends, but she’s still not entirely a sociable person. She comes off as aloof and cold to strangers, but cares deeply for people and enjoys having the power to help them, wanting to become a doctor someday. Ami isn’t inclined to violence, but she does have a strong sense of justice, to the point of being near merciless on enemies that are without morals. She likes reading a myriad of books and having intellectual challenges, and has a slight competitive streak. She has no interest in a love life though, and handles anything related to it pretty poorly if it’s brought up.

• Personal Appearance: [1]

• Powers/Abilities:

-Ami is an academic genius, and also a computer whiz and chess pro. She knows a little bit about most subjects, but is especially learned in the medical and computer sciences, mathematics, astronomy, and literature. An excellent swimmer and can sense running water without the help of dowsing equipment.

-As Sailor Mercury, she gets more durable to blunt force attacks than normal, heals a little faster from wounds, and gains access to her array of spells/attacks. She can form an obscuring mist to confuse her enemies and hide allies (Bubble Spray) , freeze enemies and objects with a jet of water (Shine Aqua Illusion), and fire a powerful geyser of water (Mercury Aqua Rhapsody)

• Equipment:

Mercury Transformation Pen- Used to transform into Sailor Mercury

Mercury Computer- A high-tech futuristic hand held computer that can store massive amounts of data and perform complex mathematics and scientific tests based on collected info. Works in conjunction with her visor. It is stored in Hammerspace until she summons it.

Visor-A blue visor that slides out from her tiara over her eyes at the press of her earring. It can scan areas, objects, and people to glean helpful information on them. Sensitive to energy readings in particular.

Mercury Harp- A light blue lyre she plays to use some of her magical attacks.

  • Alignment: Between White and Grey hero

• Backstory: Ami was born in the Juuban District in Tokyo, Japan and was awakened as the reincarnated guardian Sailor Mercury at age 14, right after she became friends with Usagi who originally dragged her out of her shell. Mercury served as a technical and magical support in battles, covering for others and giving information on the enemy, but she eventually gained more offensive power. She and the rest of the reborn Sailor Senshi who joined their team after constantly fought against the many enemies of the Moon Kingdom that attacked Earth, eventually defeating the very source in a final battle that spanned the Galaxy in effect and ended once again in their death and rebirth. After four years of conflict and challenges were over, Ami was approached by the man of Ipsum in a dream, and agreed to help his side of the war as long as doing so did not conflict with her duty to her Moon Princess’s future kingdom. And if the people of the Abyss won, her world would definitely be impacted.

• Other: Sailor Mercury’s Super and Eternal forms are unreachable due to the dimensional hopping, limiting her power.

  • Name: Geralt of Rivia - Gwynbleidd, The White Wolf, the Butcher of Blaviken.
  • Age: At least in his mid-to-late thirties or early forties (Possibly more, but I don't really know his exact age). Due to his mutations lengthening his lifespan, he looks much younger than a man of his age would be, somewhere in his late twenties.
  • Universe: The Witcher
  • Personality: Geralt is somewhat of a relic - bred for fighting monsters using ancient techniques, living in a world where the forces of men can now handle such tasks - who does not have a real place he belongs, and is unsure of his relevance in the world. A stoic man who does not like to talk about frivolous topics (unless he's been drinking). While he is cunning at times, he can still act like a friend or a romantic in the company of those he trusts (or if he's been drinking). He is not very prejudiced, remaining somewhat neutral on such a subject, and has gotten along well with all types of people, be they beggars, bard, prostitutes, nobles, dwarven and elven anti-human terrorists, kings and queens, trolls, goddesses, or fellow Witchers. While Geralt is a hero, he comes from a complex world where being a hero is not solved by simply killing a being of pure evil and saving the world, but rather by understanding that all actions have consequences and choosing the ones he believes in. In a world where doing the morally 'right' thing is closer to picking the lesser evil ("better the devil you know than the devil you don't") this means that he tends to walk his own path. He tries not to pick sides in political conflicts and maintain the neutrality of a Witcher, but often finds himself being forced to fight for one or the other due to external factors.
  • Personal Appearance: Like so.
  • Powers/Abilities: Geralt is a Witcher, which has given him an incredibly long lifespan, a tremendous resistance to disease, strength, speed, and reflexes beyond that of most men, and a side-effect of being sterile. He has studied advanced martial training since he was young, and though it covers proficiency in basically any weapon that comes to hand, Witcher training focuses on two primary tools, the steel sword and the silver sword. Witchers do not need to sleep, but have a minor regenerative ability which they can bolster by meditating, being able to recover from near-death after a night of focusing. Perhaps the most important ability of a Witcher is their capability to shrink their pupils at will, which grants them better night vision, which is essential for slaying beasts. Geralt is also skilled at alchemy, being able to use pieces of dead monsters to make poisons, bombs, traps, oils, or somewhat useful potions that offer short-term benefits but tend to leave the user feeling sick (Though Witchers have a natural resistance to toxicity, and shrug off that feeling shortly enough). Lastly, Witchers are trained in the use of signs, a type of magic. These are mere tricks compared to what a sorceress can do, but they serve very well for someone with a sword in one hand to add a variety of edges to their efforts.
    • Aard: A telekinetic wave that can throw back, knock down or stun an opponent. This sign can also be used to destroy obstacles, for example crumbling walls or stacks of barrels.
    • Igni: A gush of flames that wound opponents.
    • Yrden: A magical trap placed on the ground, which will wound and immobilize opponents for a short while, though it will.
    • Quen: A protective shield that absorbs all damage directed at Geralt by the first attack that hits it, and then disappears. Each time it is cast, he must stay still for at least a second to focus the energy, and thus cannot attack while preparing it, making him vulnerable in that moment.
    • Axii: A charm placed on an opponent. If the charm attempt is successful, the enemy becomes Geralt's ally for a short while, fighting at his side. Also helps out when trying to persuade merchants. Men, and even beasts, with strong enough wills (So basically any PC and the majority of non-mooks) are completely unaffected.
    • Heliotrop: Geralt's most powerful sign, which requires him to have built up adrenaline during a long fight. It creates a temporary immobile circular force-field area around Geralt, which considerably slows down everything inside the field except himself.
  • Equipment:
    • Witcher's Steel Blade: It is a sword made for taking the lives of men, elves, and dwarves. Witchers are slayers of monsters, not assassins, which is why they are supposed to only accept payment for slaying beasts, but the world is a complicated place, and often enough they must stand against mortal opponents.
    • Aerondight: A silver sword given to him by a goddess - the Lady of the Lake - after winning her love, which he replaced his Witcher's Silver Blade with. Being made from silver, it is not very effective against men, acting much like a rusted steel sword against them. However, it is a monster-slaying sword, and against monsters and animals it cuts them much like a steel sword would cut a man, with thrice the effect.
    • Witcher's Medallion: It is sensitive to magic, vibrating and tugging on its chain when spells are being cast or magical beings, like genies, are present.
    • Armor: A simple costume made of sturdy, flexible armor that helps protect from swords and claws.
  • Alignment: Gray.
  • Backstory: From the game
Geralt was allegedly killed five years ago, but actually survived and one day woke up, and has no memory of the event or his life before that. He knows he was, like all Witchers, exposed to mutagens that altered his biology as a child, and because he took so well to them, was given previously unheard of levels of mutation. After saving a country from anarchy, being framed for killing the king of the country he was currently in, then killing the king of a different country in the process of proving his innocence, he eventually found peace for a while.
Sometime later, on his self-destructive pursuit of the Wild Hunt - a group of specters - he found the last man of Ipsum, who claimed to be able to bring an end to them.

I'm thinking up of an alternate version of a character. If I don't come up with something, I'll probably think of a new idea... or steal one of Strato's. Namely Nightcrawler.

So there's a particular character I have always wanted to play and this RP seems like the perfect excuse reason.

  • Name: Rock Lee
  • Age: 14
  • Universe: Naruto
  • Personality: Lee is an overly-energetic and incredibly passionate shinobi. He throws himself into training and battle with fire in his eyes and, according to him, the Power of Youth in his heart. Despite this, he will not kill unless he absolutely must, and he always accepts defeat with honor. He acts very formal and never breaks his word, attempting to be a "Nice Guy" just like his teacher, Might Guy, is. Lee always strives to outdo himself, believing that hard work is better than being a natural born prodigy. He has a habit of setting unreasonable goals for himself (2000 kicks, 3000 push-ups, 4000 laps around the village on his hands, etc.) and training harder even when he has only barely failed to meet them. Also, he's very violent when drunk.
  • Personal Appearance: The Green Beast of the Leaf Village!
  • Powers/Abilities: Lee has trained for most of his life to rely entirely on hand-to-hand combat. His fighting style is based on singular, fast, powerful blows, and each one can easily break bones if his opponent isn't physically fit enough. Lee also has incredible willpower, enabling him to stand and fight even if one of his legs is broken.
    • Chakra: Lee uses chakra, the natural energy of the body, to enhance his abilities. He cannot use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu as his peers can, but he can still walk on walls and water. This also grants him strength and speed noticeably above what normal people can achieve.
    • The Eight Gates: A technique that opens the limiters of the body, increasing Lee's speed and strength even further, but also damaging his muscles when in use. The more that are opened, the stronger and faster he gets, but the more his body is damaged. Opening one gate enables use of the Front (Primary) Lotus (a move where you kick the opponent in the air, then spin them around and spike them into the ground at backbreaking speeds). Opening three gates enables use of the Reverse (Hidden) Lotus (a lightning fast barrage of attacks that ends with a blow so strong it's fatal to any ordinary human.) Using the Front Lotus will tear Lee's muscles a bit, and using the Reverse Lotus will render him barely able to stand. As such, each of these can only be used once per battle, and require quite a bit of rest to recover from.
    • Drunken Fist: Lee is a natural born master of the drunken fist, capable of bending in ways thought impossible and dodging attacks with surprising ease while completely wasted. He also gets drunk REALLY REALLY easily - one sip of sake does the trick - and will attack most anything that isn't one of his teammates without provocation.
  • Equipment: As a ninja, Lee carries a supply of kunai knives and shuriken to use as projectiles. He can also use kunai as melee weapons or to deflect projectiles.
    • Leg Weights: Lee wears very heavy training weights around his ankles at all times, hidden under his leg warmers. These weights look normal, but are actually many times heavier than Rock Lee himself. When removed, Rock Lee becomes too fast for the unaided eye to keep track of, so most enemies will only see a green blur.
  • Alignment: White
  • Backstory: Rock Lee can not do Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. Instead of choosing a civilian job, he trained and trained and with the help of Might Guy became a genin, and thus officially a ninja. Though he time and time again lost to his rival Neji Hyuuga, he vowed to defeat the prodigy with hard work. He eventually made it to the Chunin exams, where he got through the second round before being eliminated in a primary tournament by Gaara, a boy with a demon sealed within him. Gaara damaged his arm and leg beyond repair, and his career as a ninja was almost over. But a brilliant medic named Tsunade offered him a chance, and with an operation with only a 50% survival rate, his body was repaired. He almost immediately ran off to help his friends bring back Sasuke Uchiha, who had defected from the Leaf Village, fighting alongside Gaara himself in a strange twist of fate. After that failed mission, he returned to the village. He had just begun his training for the next Chunin Exams when the last man of Ipsum came to him. Unable to ignore such a plea for help, he accepted without hesitation.
  • Other: The gates are basically a desperation move. Don't expect him to spam them at every battle.

Showing interest, and injecting some muscle in here

  • Name: Flynn Taggart. Prefers to be known as Doom Guy
  • Age: Though his age is unknown, it's likely to be mid to late 20s
  • Universe: The Doo M universe, after the events of Doom 2
  • Personality: A man of extreme violence. A professional soldier who takes justice and the rights of men and women very serious, which would be admirable on someone else but is marred by his open hostility to others and love of heavy automatic weapons. He is often demanding and rough to others who do not match his standards, but is still protective of the weak and respects fellow soldiers and fighters. Getting on his bad side is a one way trip to the infirm, though. After his incursion into Hell, the already violent Doomguy has been left somewhat traumatized and likely unhinged. It has left him with a hatred for the hellspawn and takes joy in ripping them apart, whether with high powers guns or his bare hands. And he does loves his high powered guns.
  • Personal Appearance: The last thing you'll see alive. Doomguys is also massively scared everywhere from past battles and the demon invasion.
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • As a trained soldier of the United States Space Marine Corps, Doom Guy is proficient in a number of ranged weapons, from shotguns and chainguns to rocket launchers and plasma rifles. Given the usual environment of tight corridors and individual rooms in space ships and bases, the space marine modus operandi is focus on close quarter combat, encouraging short range and brutal weapons (though he's no slouch with longer ranges)). Doom guys takes to the point than he is even skilled in melee, preferring his hands to rip and tear.
    • Thanks to tough and rigid training, and plenty of stim, Doom Guy is stronger and faster than your average human. Easily able to carry all necessary equipment and spare ammo, and keep up a quick pace through enemy territory.
    • Perhaps above all else, Doom Guy is the man who will not die. Despite being completely mortal, his indomitable will to survive has kept him moving even after taking bullets and fireballs and keep fighting to his last breath. Even dying at the end of episode one did not stop him, as he continued to fight through Hell and made it out.
    • BFG 9000 certified. Yes, being able to use the BFG is a power in it's own right
  • Equipment:
    • Where to start...
      • Pistol, clipped semi-automatic that is not very powerful but can do the job
      • Shotgun, pump action with military grade pellet shells (though can theoretically use slug shots)
      • Super Shotgun, a double barreled demon slayer. Eat lead, hellspawn
      • Chaingun, (though it's not really a chaingun) a rapid fire weapon that can lay down a hail of fire in any direction.
      • Rocket Launcher with anti-infantry explosive rockets. great for killing anything that isn't heavy armored, which is most things.
      • Plasma Gun, a high powered automatic heat spewing death dealing rifle. Eats power like no other, though
      • The BFG 9000. Affectionately referred to as the "Big F***ing Gun" by Doom Guy, this king of cannons, the doomsdays bazooka, is the answers to all problems. Able to clear out a room full of baddies and leave them a smear on the wall. Probably destroy the room too.
      • Chainsaw. RNRNRNRNRNNRNR no not the chainsaw YES THE CHAINSAW RNRNRNRNRNR
    • Security Armor, a tough set of space age alloys protect the soldier from harm. It's day-glow green though, don't ask why
    • His helmet provides a useful HUD which notes health, armor durability, and ammo supplies, as well the automapper, a function that maps where he has been.
    • Bezerker, a volatile cocktail of combat drugs that can keep a soldier going in a fight and increase his strength exponentially. It also drives them to a rage.
    • A collection of other things, such as a rad-suit, night vision goggles, medkits, stimpacks, and backpack
  • Alignment: White
  • Backstory: After beating his commanding officer when he ordered Doomguy and his men to open fire on civilians, the marine was assigned to Mars as a disciplinary action to protect UAC (Union Aerospace Corporation) installations on it and the two moons of Phobos and Deimos. These installations were used for secret experiments, but otherwise left the marine fifty million miles from any real action. When called up to Phobos after a frightened distress call, Doomguy would find the moon overrun by the forces of Hell. He would battle his way through the hellspawn, fighting Hell's generals until he made it back to Earth, only to fight in under invasion by the demons. He would break them, then dive back into Hell and destroy the Icon of Sin itself, leaving the demonic army army broken.
  • Other: I will be sort of picking and choosing a few things from other sources (such as the novel and the comic book), but I will try to be consistent on those things.

Confound these timezones. Let me see.

@Scira: I see no problems with her as she is. She's accepted, although for now I'll move her to standby so you can decide whether you're better off with her or Link.

@Mercury: Seems fine. Welcome aboard. :)

@Geralt: Ohgodyes. Welcome aboard. :)

@Lee: Everything seems fine, but I'll have to question how exactly fast does he get after removing the leg weights.

@Doomguy: He'd better carry all of this on himself rather than in Hammerspace. I'm not too partial to the BFG either, that gun might be a tad bit powerful. Other than that, he's fine, so remove it and he gets a green light.

@BB: There's no rush although I'll have to say no to Nightcrawler.

@Ragna: Which Dante are we talking about? As for Ruby, she seems fine.

@Dese: They're okay in my book.
