Any PM you delete won't affect ones the other person deletes.
They're entirely separate PM's.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.

That's not entirely true. It's the same document for both people. It only gets permanently deleted from the database if both sender and recipient delete it. But deleting it on your end should remove it from your mailbox view. If it doesn't, that's a bug.

Yeah, all the recent PM's I've sent to other people are still in my mailbox. That's what I meant to say. Does anyone here have a clue as to what's causing this, and has it happened to anyone else?

Now the problem has been reversed: I can delete PM's that I sent other people, but I can't get the ones people have sent me removed from the mailbox.

Eddie had to do a manual fix on my account tonight for the same reason (can't delete P Ms sent to me). Is anyone else having the same problem?

Huh, trying it out, it looks like I can't delete PMs sent to me. Is there any need to delete PMs, though?

Yes, if you don't want to keep troll messages around. I used to get a lot of them.

There's that, and also the fact that if you have a ton of them, your probably going to want to clear it all out eventually instead of keeping it cluttered.

Okay, so I'm trying to delete all my PM's so that the PM box won't be so cluttered. But for some reason all the PM's that I've sent to other people are still there even when I clicked "Delete all", yet the PM's that other people have sent me are gone. Is something going on with the site right now?
