Well, the achievement were both Reynauld and Dismas make it to the end is called "On the Old Road, We've Found Redemption".
Perhaps Crusader's wife and son are the people Highwayman shot.
@Missing Comics: Still no Bounty Hunter and Hellion, I think.

How do lizards fly?Reynauld's wife could have married a wealthy merchant or somesuch, I suppose.
Oh right, them too.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Over a million copies have been sold, Crimson Court due for early 2017, official merchandise and official mod support with a Steam Workship is oncoming, a new game from the studio only referred to as "Game 2" so far far been planned and last but not least...thank you!
I really do wonder what Crimson Court will involve. Some sort of vampirism I bet.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.The teaser picture seems to hint at vampires that resemble mosquitoes. I wonder if they'll have anything to do with whatever the Ancestor unleashed from the portal, or if they're something separate.
I really like how the vampire hunter is going to be an antagonist. Definitely sounds like an interesting boss to go up against.
Here's hoping he's not as annoying to fight as the Shambler.
If anything he seemms worse; not as in annoying, but like how damaging his abilities will be. Seriously, you hit him and he gets mad and gets a buff, and if you let him damage you then you'll take DOT.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Try to hit him hard, but not often, maybe? Aside from the obvious damage racing strategies of trying to get rid of his pyre or him as fast as possible, if that's at all feasible.
Man that kind of character would have been awesome to put in the party :(.
Yeah, as cool as this is I'd actually like us to get more characters, especially ones that are more useful than the Antiquarian.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.If the Antiquarian were too good, though, you'd never not take her with you, what with the extra treasure she gets you. I wouldn't want her taking up a slot during a boss fight, but for the quests leading up to a boss? She's got a utility that's nice to have.
I'd like more characters too, though.

Antiquarian's very useful, but a lot like the Leper, you really have to build around that. Try taking the two Riposte classes to synergize with her Protect Me! skill. Leper and Abom are self-sufficient to deal with the Anti's minimalist combat competency.
And when you do LOADSAMONEE

Her multi-target Blight (Festering Vapours) and stacking buff to Dodge for everyone in the party (Invigorating Vapours) also come in very handy against most regular enemies, and her movement (2 forward, 2 back) and Protect Me are great against enemies who shuffle your party order when you've specialized certain characters to only be effective in specific ranks. Her single-target heal's not great, but it can justify you bringing along a non-healer instead of overleveling your Plague Doctors and Vestals, and her camp abilities are strong enough to make up for weaker healing in battle.
Basically, as long as you're not expecting her to kill things for you, she's a good support character.

New patch out on computers of various fixes and controller support. A "RADIANT" mode for a quicker campaign (which is to say, less grind) is upcoming.
Well, saw this on sale during the Steam sale and figured I'd pick it up for the price.
It's good, but difficult, so if you're into that you'll likely have fun.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Been playing it a bit, and it's fun if frustrating. The psychological elements are neat but man the heroes break too damn quick.
People usually say 'there's no shame in running away' and it's clear they're being slightly condescending about it, but here, you should definitely consider it. It's strategic— you may be better off retreating to prevent your party members from picking up Afflictions or dying, keeping them out of your roster for longer than if you just went back and healed. If you can make your outlay back plus a little extra, then sometimes a few 'failed' expeditions can be more profitable than a victory where one of your party members died or picked up a nasty disease that's going to set you back a pretty penny to heal. You still want to win if you can, but picking your battles is key.
That's what I've been doing mostly. In this game it seems if one thing goes wrong, two more will shortly after and then it's a wash. It's addictive but friggin frustrating at times.
You'll learn to love that frustration. It's that kind of game.
So I whipped the necromancer's ass like a Novigrad whore, beat the hag like cheap steak (though that battle was stupid as hell) and now I'm stuck. Every Veteran quest I attempt with my vet heroes I have to abandon.
Funny note is my hellion I named after my hard-drinking, hard-fighting Nord berserker lady in Skyrim just got off a month-long bender, lol.
Yeah, the game definitely ramps up with each boss tier.

Certainly adds a new wrinkle to them travelling together.
