Nah Its okay. People do tend to malign Fear a lot so its natural to feel weird to actually like it! Im glad you do BTW! I think every emotion has so far been amazingly likeable!
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.I just want to give Fear a hug. He seems like he'd be a good friend.
I think he's going to end up being the Fan Favorite! I like Joy and Sadness but their personalities are kinda dime a dozen. Anger looks fun but I find Fear more endearing. Disgust is Sass personified but Im not sure if there's anything to her beyond that. So Fear it is!
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.If this movie doesn't make a "Fear leads to Anger..." joke, I'll be sorely disappointed in Pixar.
You there! Check out my Youtube Channel! The power of Ponies compel you!Now I'm trying to imagine what the emotions of Hate and Suffering would look/act like.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Well there's a phrase that's nonsensical out of context and slightly contradictory in context.
In terms of Parks And Recreation, I see Hate as acting like April Ludgate and Suffering as Jerry/Larry/Terry/Gerry/etc Gergich.
ah, gotcha.

Ellen-exclusive, 2:30-minute trailer! We finally get a sense of the story.
It would make sense that teen angst can arise from sadness taking over your emotions over happiness, and then both of them almost disappear. Oddly, it seems this story is more about Joy and Sadness rather than all five emotions. And that the story seems to kickstart all from Sadness's need to touch one of the orbs! Hmm.

Fear, Anger, and Disgust trying to keep Riley together is obviously going to be the B plot.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."And Riley's scenes are the C-plot.
Or they're basically the same plot.
I'm starting to get excited for this movie again. I just hope they don't go for too many of the "Moms are more emotionally intelligent than dads" jokes; those leave a bad taste in my mouth.
Oh God! Natural light!Looks exciting!
Am I the only one who gets the feeling that Riley's emotions getting physically lost inside her mind might be a metaphor for clinical depression/anxiety/etc.?
I'd like to be the first man on the moon. You are not. If they play their cards right, this could be good.
Oh God! Natural light! The teaser trailer alone brought me to that conclusion. I'm avoiding the main trailers for as long as I can.
I really enjoyed that trailer though. I think I can see where this film is going though.
And why do I get the feeling that something really bad happened at the Ice Rink and the little girl has been repressing it for years? *Wink*

Sadness looks like she's useless and only causes problems.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Gee, no wonder she looks so depressed.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...That is usually the case.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."I'm totally hyped for this movie and wish I didn't have to wait three months to see it"
@Mullon: I think part of the point of the movie is that since Riley's going through so many changes, her emotions are going through similar ones. As she's maturing, they have to evaluate their place in her mind/psyche/whatever so that she CAN mature. Sadness will probably find her place before the end of the movie.
Also, this needs to be in a Kingdom Hearts game at some point. The perfection.
For my next trick...anvils.Sijo posted this over in the General Disney thread and no one seemed to notice it, but I thought it was relevant.
io9 got an early screening of Inside Out and needless to say it looks like it might be the smartest Pixar film since Toy Story 3 [1]. Hyped as HELL for this film.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction. The premise itself is very high-concept. I expect nothing else.
HEY Mattonymy, thanks for reposting the link here! I was about to do it but you beat me to it.

I don't think he's hated, I just think he's different from what his name is. So it's refreshing and adorable. ^^;
Didn't mean to spread a false narrative, my apologies.
