Hitman: Codename 47 Help / Tips:

A thread for the Hitman games, tips, and trying to find help getting the things to work. I was actually surprised we didn't seem to have one, save one last posted on in January titled: Hitman 5.

So here's my odd problem with the first game. I am not being briefed. At first looking over the information of my target I just assumed it was a joke 'you are a hitman, you don't need to know more' but upon looking it up I found that I was supposed to see text.

I bought my copy from Steam and I had to edit the .ini file to get the thing to run in the first place, but nothing I did should have had this effect. Any ideas?
I recommend we build a granary!

War ALWAYS changes. Man does not.
In the dating world I would ask for A/S/L.tongue For tech support I need your system specs, your operating system, what bit-rate it is - either 32-bit or 64 bit, your graphics card make and driver version and pretty much anything else you can think of that may be relevant. Then I can go digging on that google and bing things like.

The game's rather short and I can deal with it by just looking the briefing up on the wiki.

I made this thread not just for me trying to get my game to run properly, but as a general Hitman thrad. Prob. should have just called it that. tongue

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
