I would love to join this RP, although I am unsure if I should play a Sailor Senshi, a Knight, or a civilian OC.
I'll probably allow people to choose both a Canon character and an OC if they want, due to the massive amount of characters to choose from.
If that is the case, I call Sailor Jupiter. She's my favorite senshi.
Just for reference later, do you want the Anime, Manga, or Live-Action version?
I already have an idea for an OC Senshi. >.> <.<
Tempted to at least try a canon one too, though, but... My favourite is Saturn and she's a bit overpowered, and I don't think I can play her well anyways. Venus, on the other hand, is my second favourite and I'm a bit more confident with her, but... We'll see.
I've got an OC out there as well, so...
"Yup. That tasted purple."Actually, important question:
IS SAILOR V ALLOWED? >.> <.< >.> <.<
...Oh god she is eeeeeeeeh~ SHE IS MINE.

Eeee I wanna play I wanna play!
Hmm, I think I could play either Neptune or Mercury for the canons ok... Though I'd like to try my hand at an OC as well. Certainly there are a ton of Sailors from non-Sol planets, so I might make one up for that. Sailor Coronis, maybe?
Exist, pursued by bearYup. Sailor V counts as a seperate Senshi, and would theoretically come from a seperate time period before she joined up with the rest. Consequently, she would have no idea who Sailor Venus or the others are at first. The timestream is weird like that.
Sailor Saturn would definitely get nerfed somehow if anyone wanted to play as her. Anyone have ideas for who should be in charge of the Galactic Sailor Federation?
Oh, and remember, there can be multiples of the same character that show up.

I would pick the anime version of Sailor Jupiter
So, because I have too much time on my hands, I made a Sailor Coronis picture.◊
Exist, pursued by bearOoh, fancy.
Yeah, here's◊ the version of mine I made in that program as the original reference for when I drew her and for the person that fixed said drawing.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Um... question... doesn't allowing multiples of every character cause problems along with making no sense (and then there's all the versions of Pluto that would work against this...)?
Interested, though.

Avatar SourceNice. I tried to make my own OC on that, but there was no helmet option and not enough armor. I'll get my hand drawing colored and posted someday...
The reason that there are multiple characters is because of there being a problem with Dimensions and Space-Time. The Galactic Sailor Federation exists outside of this, and can select characters from different Canons to help them out without breaking any of them. Once the missions are all over, they will be permanently returned to their correct universes with a memory reset.
Sailor Pluto also has multiple copies, but is fully aware of it. You never see more than one version at once though, because they plan their appearances out. Sailor Pluto should be second in command, now that I think about it...

So far, I'm thinking of the space station (well, now it's more of a space-time station...) will be mostly run by an AI known as Sailor Alpha, with her subordinate A.I.s running the major machinery.
The next leader will be "Boss", AKA Central Command. Boss moniter's the enemy's movements and calls in missions. Boss is only heard on the intercom system, never in person.
The third leader is Sailor Pluto (one version anyway). She can temporarily open portals to different timestreams and continuums, handling transportation.
The true leader is hidden at the moment. (I have yet to decide who or what it is.)
The Space Station itself (That needs a name too) is shaped like a giant silver crescent moon, with many windows and rooms spanning its length. Inside are many high tech computers and stores of equipment collected from the other dimensions.
The main enemy is also unknown, but will be an OC. They have also managed to find a way outside of Space-Time and is abusing its power by summoning the other villains to use as pawns to attack places.

Anyone want to add to this, or have some questions so far?
... not really a fan of the idea, and I'm not really invested in this, so I'll be dropping out. Sorry.
Avatar SourceI found what is apparently the only canon picture of Sailor Coronis◊, so that's a thing. Also that space-station plan sounds good to me.
Exist, pursued by bearWhat about the idea threw you off? It's pretty much still in developement at this point anyway.
I've always loved the space themes in Sailor Moon, but that may be because I'm a bit of a space nerd.

Its complete lack of any real connection to the setting and merely borrowing some of the characters and the general idea.
Avatar SourceYou know, pretty much all of the missions would have ended up on Earth, the Moon or some form of them. Any suggestions for compromises to make it a little more appealing?
Actually, I don't really see the disconnect, Raineh. 'Borrowing the characters and general idea' would be a much more generic RP, probably a bigger crossover as well. Since all the characters are from the Sailor Moon verse I don't think it's much of an issue.
Edit: Also, after finding the only pages where Coronis or its Sailor are mentioned, I made another Sailor Coronis◊ picture.

Exist, pursued by bear... unless I have forgotten something, SM subscribes heartily to Tokyo as the centre of the universe, and being orderly and militarised like this is something that just... doesn't fit. :/
Avatar SourceWell, Crystal Tokyo certainly had a government run by Senshi, and the Silver Millenium senshi served as either Serenity's personal guard, or in the case of the outers, some kind of system-wide patrol, IIRC. So there are canon examples of them being both ordered and somewhat militarized.
Exist, pursued by bear
Formal Sign Up thread:[1]
This RP idea basically allows both Canon and OC characters from the three main time periods (Silver Millenium, Present, and Crystal Tokyo) and the multiple continuums (Anime, Manga, Games, Live Actions) to be played, justified by the entire universe being warped by some undefined evil. All the characters get drawn from their specific dimensions to an orbiting space station base to join up with the Galactic Sailor Federation. They are then sorted into groups to get sent out on cross dimesional missions to fight off various revived villains.
The plot details need a lot of work, along with the mechanics for how the game will be played out, but character types that can be used will be. There can be multiple of the same character if they are from different continuums like the Manga and Anime. Canon characters will start at their base forms and work their way up.:
Any other category can be discussed.
Ideas for plotlines, worldbuilding, villains, and potential character choices can be discussed here.
