Annoyingly, I keep missing the pre-opening credits gag on account of switching over from Archer, which tends to run a little long. I catch it on the Sunday rerun but it's still annoying; sometimes some of the funniest bits are found there (like the butter robot).

Not sure what I'm missing here but the Twist Ending never really surprised me that much. So eye patch Morty was the Puppet Master the entire time? Is this really that surprising, considering how the majority of them are basically treated as a degenerate species by the superiors, it's only a matter of time before one revolts.

[up]Yes, but there's no reason to suspect that a Morty would be so competent. The villain's plan also involved dozens upon dozens (maybe hundreds?) of Mortys being endlessly tortured. The reveal was foreshadowed, but only in a Fridge or second viewing way if you ask me. Until the very end there was no reason to suspect that there was a puppet master.

And this time they put some key clues to the mystery in the scene before the opening!

Loved the episode, though I missed Evil RickRouge Morty's motive behind kidnapping a bunch of Mortys and using them to make a giant brainwave cloaker thing. Loved seeing the portal gun used defensively, too.

[up]The portal gag/chase was the funniest part of the episode. Well, that and the restaurant scene. "Waiter, more phone sticks!" [lol]

I wonder what it would be like if there were a Table dimension.

"Yes, i'd like to order one large cough with extra phones."

"Yes, and half smartphones!"[lol]

I wasn't too thrilled by the expansion of all the interdimensional shenanigans in this episode, makes the whole universe seem too focused on Rick. Nice twist ending, though, as you figured they were setting up for lovable but outcast Doofus Rick, instead of the really real killer.

I did like Rick's one off joke: "What do me and OJ not have in common? I found the real killer bitches!"

[up][up] It's not Rick focused though alone. More it's just that in the various verses, there are those who do consider Rick a problem or focused on him - as we've already seen before. So a bunch of Rick's just decided to team up for safety.

It also makes sense for Rick to focus on Rick. Rick is all about Rick.

I gotta admit, next to Steven Universe, this is one of the most plot-twisting series in animation this generation. I find it hard to belive that this series hasn't roasted on SU yet, too. Considering that both shows deal with space-time travel.

Besides Space Dandy, the best newest series that have come out recently are space related. Space Dandy, Wander Over Yonder, and Rickand Morty. I'm quiet surprised that all three have been relatively decent in all episodes.

"roasted on SU"? What does that even mean?

As in make an in-joke about it. Though there's very little reason the show would do that unless to prove they can.

Also, I heard next episode is gonna be the season finale. Can anyone confirm that?
