Awwww, I was really looking forward to driving a Lamborghini Veneno.
That tutorial is also giving me flashbacks...
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"I really never want to come across as bashing, which is against the spirit of forum rules set by TV Tropes staff, but.....
After Undercover, NFS has never been on a positive track record since. What did we have in HP 2010 and what do we have in Rivals? Just nearly about the same bunch of things. Just do a polygon swap and add new cars, and that's it? They never invested another ounce of brain work to come up with creative obstacles to overcome. Just crash boom bang and finish the goals at first place. A game that got old before even playing it.
Same as usual.... Wing it.Let's see. Eurogamer has a 9/10 review up for the console version of the game, and the game itself has had pretty positive reviews across the board (84/100 for ps4 and 81/100 for PC on Metacritic). So either the problems pointed out by TB are too minor to bring up in the reviews or they aren't problems at all. Or they've been mentioned and were still considered minor.
Whoa. Oh gross XD
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.
So...another year, another Need for Speed, this time it's another Cops vs Street Racers game that acts as a Spiritual Successor to Hot Pursuit 2010. It's being developed by a new EA studio called Ghost Games with assistance from Criterion.
So far, I'm not that impressed by what I've seen. The game's locked to 30 fps for ALL systems (including PC, PS 4 and Xbone) and the opening cutscene already looks like it's trying way too hard to be cool. Such 'memorable' lines include "We are the Law, you can't catch devils with angels" and "I'm the life you're too scared to live."
Total Biscuit has a video up entitled "Let's not play," which indicates that the game is "defective by design" on PC for various reasons, including the game itself becoming completely unplayable if you try to force the fps cap off. Also, the tutorial is obnoxious and seems to assume Viewers Are Morons.
