Yes, having both Bowie and Swinton in the same picture is what makes this one excellent. Cropping either one out would make the picture much worse at illustrating the trope.
For myself, I think having the picture at 350px width but with a larger height (showing their legs as well) would be better, but when I tried to edit the picture the image got way too dark.
