The greatest threat and OP suit is the heavily decked out Qubeley, whose funnels are too quick to the point for the contenders to do anything.
And Star Build Strike's wings are more like Wings Of Light from V2 Gundam.
btw was it just me or did that part where Reiji stumbles out of the back room exhausted with Sei slumped in the corner with the biggest "I just had sex" smile plastered on his face remind anyone of just that?
You did not just make me think that. (Edited. Think I sounded offended but it was more of a "Why mental image. WHY?! )
Anyway, I thought the star build had a cape during that part but it turns into wings of light instead. (which is also ok)
God dang, the Star Build Strike Gundam is going to be powerful. Wonder how everyone else will fare.
Also, we're getting a Heavyarms next episode apparently piloted by a Trowa Barton lookalike. On top of that, Sei and Reiji capped off the preview narration with Heero Yuy's catchphrase.

Honestly, the fact he kept slicking up his hair before fights makes it so easy. He basically has a new uniform and shades as the only changes its not that hard to tell.
Man it will be real pain to fight Aila, her gunpla looks like a beast in melee combat but if no can get close then u never will be able to learn anything useful.
I think I know why I like Gunpla Builders so much. Besides the animation and the cool Suits, I really how they have 'unbroken' action sequences: In most Gundam shows, it's too much jaw-jaw, not enough war.
The fact that generally, none of the protagonists can die or be seriously inconvenienced, gives rise to plot armour - Their machine *can't* be damaged, because it would animating 'em a chore later. But here, Mobile Suits can be blown up left and right without any issues.
While I'm still holding out hope for a gritty, militaristic Gundam series where life is cheap and the death toll is high - And the protagonists are hard-bitten ace pilots instead of philosopher-pacifists - Build Fighters has the action down pat. It's incredibly pretty to look at!
As long as it's a gunpla it's ok.
My god. ALL the fighters? On a field that's basically a planet?
And then it gets better from there.
Fellini vs his G Fs' Ex. With...wait, did the Ashtaron pilot just shouted brother?
Edit: And aila doesn't seem to be using funnels. So it's bits from gundam age?
