Not a great image as it's dealing with real life people in a portrait, patently not heroes and what the trope's description is (hero has cool object, object came from someone else) isn't at all what's going on here. There is an example relating to the image on the page but even that suggests the image isn't a straight representation so, any options?

Keep Until Better Image Suggested. Not nearly bad enough to pull.

[up] I disagree; there's nothing there that indicates the trope at all, it's just a gift being offered, and that's pretty much overwhelmed by everything else. I vote to pull; no replacement suggestions right now.

I don't see the trope at all, and I think it suggests any gift at all. Thus, pull.

I can't even see any gift-giving in the picture and it looks more like a soldier returning home or visiting a child. Therefore, another vote for pulling.

What is the gift? Is it the box the guy is holding that is barely visible? Pull it. [tdown]

It illustrates the name, not the trope. Again.

The current doesn't show it. What about Aragorn with Arwen's pendant?

Anti-Hero: This image looks like it would be a good pick for Batman Grabs a Gun, since that's literally what it shows. It's atypical of Batman, though. I think a better image for Anti-Hero would be an anti-heroic character doing something more in their usual field of behavior.

[up] That discussion isn't remotely relevant to this particular thread.

Also, since the clock's up and the pic is pulled, I suppose we're done here. Locking up; no further action is to be taken based on this thread.
