For once there is an anime with a premise that doesn't make me go "What." Will check out.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I wouldn't say Kill la Kill is awesome, unless you're easily impressed, but in this anime you'll at least find reasonable characters.
Check out my fanfiction! Why not? Like, what does this show have over it?
Reasonable characters, as I said. It has something to offer besides stupid fun. Not saying it's an exemplary anime or anything, though.
Check out my fanfiction! So like, how are they reasonable compared to the ones in KLK?
Is reasonable a word you'd use to describe the characters in KLK? At all?
As for this series, read the first post of the thread, for one.
Check out my fanfiction!@L Dragon: It's incredibly generic and by the numbers, especially compared to KLK. Not bad by any means, but not particularly noteworthy either.
"I'll show you fear, there is no hell, only darkness." My twitterAh come on, Koujo. You can't lose your head that easily
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serial50 billion yen? Yeah, better keep quiet about it.
Ahh, Japanase High Schools. Where people will just decide some girl is your girlfriend and not listen to any voices to the contrary.
Loli Teacher is trolling. Also I suspect that the mascot has some tracking device put in.
Akatsuki, why are you surprised that someone would treat homunculus badly when you just said that they are used for drug tests?
Is our protagonist dead? Yeah, nope. He wouldn't be much of an immortal vampire if any dude with a bladed weapon could kill him.
I predict that next episode Akatsuki will lose his virginity and kick some ass.
I love Hirgami. She's cute. She starting to have more deapth to her character in each passing episode and seeing how it ended I'm sure it'll leave a huge impect on her.
Akatsuki, man seriously? I mean think before you charge to action man. You need to have a plan. Otherwise, you get axed XDDDDDDD I do hope he can regenrate. So the priest guy host a familiar on his homunculus? As much as powerful she looks it was very stupid of him giving a familiar to a human homoculus instead of a beast. That way he could control it better cause she probably will learn to create feelings and will of her own. Typical

Episode 3:
- Aw, no 4P awesomesauce. Still, quite the destruction you've caused, Kojou.
- Misunderstandings, the root of all evil.
- Natsuki's wearing white today. And she's cool.
- Oh bother, another evil pharmaceutical comapny.
- Who's the greater sinner? Hmm... Tough choice. I'd like to go with BOTH.
- Wait, hold on a second. Three episodes in, and Kojou's a dead man!? Whatever, he'll walk this brutal massacre off, right? ...Right? Still, poor Yukina.

Dammit not the sacrificial meatshield schtick again. Grow a brain, people!
Otherwise, an okay episode.
He probably can, if only literally.
Episode 4. In which there's innuendo.
And then Kojou just wakes up.
Quite a loaded scene. Wasn't sure if he wanted to bite Yuki, she wanted him to, or whatever vampire biting is often an metaphor for...
...and shortly after she showed pretty much the answer to the above.
"No one can stand in our way now!" There's only one possible outcome after saying that.
And then, naturally, things get serious.
Explosive Instrumentation. Whee. I had hoped that trope had died out by now.
She makes a good Dragoon.
Astarte reminded me a lot of Rika when her shield broke. I mean. And that punch was very reminiscent of another punch in the "sequel". Which shall not be described as it is a spoiler. Even if it was awesome.
I'll have to agree with Yuki. That was rather rude of him. Even if it was practical. I do think she should consider the implications a little better. He needed her to get aroused, and Astarte didn't do it for him.
So it was for that reason...
Warning: Tsundere staking her territory. Asagi sure has a way with words.

Check out my fanfiction! So the thing I that sticks in my mind about this episode the most was that a theory that universalperson called 'farfetched' when he thought of it turned out to be exactly on the money.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."I specifically decided not to comment on that since I don't like mentioning theories I find likely.
Check out my fanfiction!Wow, this episode... I don't think it can be even called innuendo. Not when Kojou flat out says that he needs to be aroused to suck the blood. A vampire boner if you will.
"Sempai, you are a pervert!"
"Yeah, sorry."
This episode we get the pay-off for all the effort previous episodes took in establishing their relationship. It was all very natural.
Nice to see that Kojou character is kept consistent i.e. his hesitation to use his powers.
Also, bonus point for them leads actually working together in the battle. It was some time since I saw a genuine, Battle Couple.
Kojou save the homunculus with his amazing vampire boner powers. It looks like she'll be in the next episode too.
I'm not sure, are we supposed to view Lion King harshly for their plan of making Yukina Kojou's lover? All they did was facilitate their meeting, everything else was their own doing.
Also interesting that vampires seem to be monogamous in their feeding, but this play nicely with the balant sex metaphor they are going for. In that regard the last joke would have worked better if they didn't explain it, it wasn't easy to miss anyway.
Nex episode, new arc! And it look they will go on some... party? Those are pretty formal dresses even for a date.
This show gets better every episode, the characters/interactions are charming and the vampire sex jokes get a chuckle for how thick they're laying them on.
And, as they 'all' say in video comments....
"And it's still a better love story than Twilight"
Same as usual.... Wing it.That wasn't the only part that was innuendo.
I don't think we're supposed to view them any harsher than we're already supposed to. If anything less harsh, since killing is worse than controlling. Mostly.
Are there vampires other than him that make up a pattern?
It's really close to "what they say about all videos". But I'd say it's so far better than a lot of other anime as well.
Check out my fanfiction!Heh, it's fairly fun. And yes, the theory was correct. Amusing.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy Ent"So you're saying you used me as a fluffer?" *deadpan stare*
Himeragi's face during that scene. Just priceless.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI wonder if that's what she actually said or an... imaginative translation.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntI was a little surprised she knew what that word meant, but then again, naive doesn't mean she never read a dictionary.
So is this show awesome? Because I'm debating on whether or not to watch it, especially after Kill La Kill raised the bar for action anime this season.
