- ) Pick one or more of the ideas.
- ) Sit down at your computer (or typewriter, or notepad, or whatever.)
- ) Put your fingers on the keyboard (or pick up your pen, pencil, crayon, or whatever).
- ) Make the words in your head come out your fingers.
- ) Don't worry about editing or revising now. Just write.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.thanks.
so much to do, and yet... here, it feels like one cannot do anything but lie here and sleep forever. Also, work on actually finishing a story, even if you're not satisfied with the end result. It's good to learn how to finish.
I would suggest lots and lots of outlining beforehand if writing off of the top of your head doesn't work for you. Setting, character, plot, all can be improved by outlining.
'All shall love me and despar!'There is no bad way to start a story, unles you are going for one on purpose.
A conversation, an event, a discription... all good to start one off.
#1 on Maddy's list is most important, if you're the type who feels stuck because of "too many ideas".
If they're worth writing about, you can come back for them in the future.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Thanks, Kyler. But really, I missed one that comes before that.
0.) Write down the ideas in your head so that you aren't afraid of losing them. Then progress to #1.)
