I understood what was going on right away, but it could be improved. Voting Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Yeah, it shows the trope. I think her expression sells it rather well, for what it's worth. Not a great image, though.
Check out my fanfiction! It's good enough. Definitely Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMRegarding the blurry text, could I upload a larger version of the left panel, or would it seem less effective an example without the following part?

Yeah, too much text. I understand this has to involve text as some level, but a little less would be nice.
Extremely weak talking head, but better than nothing.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. Also, Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think it's clear enough that she's talking to the narration box, although the words are rather small. Keep Until Better Image Suggested
A possible solution to the text size problem: upload the left panel at full size, without the second panel.
Much better.

Do you not like the picture in post #10?
Well, honestly...
I mean, it's definitely better than what's currently on the page, and I'm not really a fan of OotS, but still.
Moon◊Clock is set.
If I didn't make it clear, I prefer the single-panel version of the current picture to the two-panel pic.
...what about something from DM Of The Rings? IMO the image on that page is already better than the suggestion since the text balloons are color-coded.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Yeah I know it's technically a DM, but in the context of the campaign the Game Master is the one narrating it....
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.I do like that better than the current, and it shouldn't be hard to find a replacement pic for DM Of The Rings.
The first panel of page 25 is a bit wide but otherwise seems quick and concise. A quick edit could trim that width off without harming much....

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Well, I suppose the interaction between the narrator and the characters seem more obvious, although I don't really like the quality of the screenshots.
Anyway, at wiki size:

Just about legible?
I can read it but I can just about guarantee that someone will gripe so something a little more legible would be better.
I have similar concerns, since the text in the current image is actually clearer than this.
EDIT: Browsed the Webcomic and found some better shots. Here's another example from DM Of The Rings:

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
It took me a long time to figure out what's going on in this. I guess the text in the box at the top is supposed to be the narrator, but it's difficult to tell without context. Plus, the whole "Kate" thing distracts from the overall point of a narrator interacting, and the blurred text makes it difficult to read what's going on in the dialog exchange.
