You know, I didn't expect to get such strong Madoka vibes from Steins Gate.
I got into the show during the post-season 2 break. I binged those first two seasons over one weekend.
I didn't write any of that.I got into it around December 2011.
There are times when I wonder if it was connected to the death of my great-grandmother then.
Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.^^^ Oh, you've been checking it? Neat. Anime or VN?
I think The Last Roundup was the newest episode when I started watching. But then I mostly dropped out of the series right around Putting Your Hoof Down because I was annoyed by the Cranky episode.

those nearly 5000 pages.
Hahaha, you don't know the least of it.
Anyway, I first started watching MLP FIM between A Bird In The Hoof and Cutie Mark Chronicles. I watched season 1 in pretty much random order and didn't finish catching up until about a week after the finale aired.
Ironically, I tried to get into FIM earlier than that. I decided to check it out to see what the fuss was, but I ended up watching a G3 video and didn't know enough to tell the difference. It wasn't until a while later that I decided to give it another try and I was pretty surprised.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI'm watching the anime.
I'm pretty sure I started watching MLP between the first and second season.
I started watching during the between-season break, and by the time Season 2 started I was ready and watching XD
Anyway, hello everyone. Just got back from seeing Ant-Man.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Sup guys. Just checking in. I'm technically still on vacation but I'm going home tomorrow. Give you all a more detailed update then.
Also I started mlp toward the end of the first season. I think that "green isn't your color" was the most recent when i started, but by the time I caught up the season was over.
Reaction Image RepositoryI also started in season one, right after Cutie Mark Chronicles. If you'd told me then how much of my time would be taken up by colorful talking horses I'd say you were crazy.
Hey there guys. How are y'all doin' now?
boop I'm more active on hereright after Cutie Mark Chronicles
Interesting. That means I started less than a week before you!
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI started watching MLP kinda late, like while Season 3 was airing. I started noticing it a lot earlier though because so many of the webcomics I read have their authors slip in some MLP references.

Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself. Two weeks after "A Canterlot Wedding" I believe.
Damn, I was a completely different person back then.
"No will to break."Broadly speaking I've been enjoying ponies since G1, but I started my G4 binge between the first two seasons.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I started during the mid-S3 hiatus. I actually found the first couple of issues of the comic on sale and figured that was as good an opportunity as any to bite the bullet and check it out, then started watching the first few episodes.
Yes, the comics "spoiled" the changeling twist for me.
Also, the NC did cover both Matrix sequels. Or was that a discontinuity joke that went over my head?

There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.^^ She actually looks a little creepy to me.

Also, new pony-ish. Sunset really is becoming the new Twilight.
(Aaaaand I see there's a EQG thread. Added to watchlist.)

There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.More EQG is good. I'll watch that one tomorrow.
"No will to break."Owls Well that Ends Well was the first episode I had to wait for. I think I was watching about two episodes a day on average?
EDIT: Also, I just finished Red Rising. I wasn't really into it at first, but it becomes really good later on. Hope i can find the second book.

Just saw Equestria Daily and Derpibooru freaking out that the end of G4 is coming soon as they are hiring a new creative lead.
Tbh, I really hope that it doesn't end so soon. I feel like I have entered the fandom way too late now and I am going to miss it when it ends. Plus, don't they tend to scrap all characters, their personalities and the even the tone of the show when it happens? I'm starting to get pretty concerned about it seeing as people are talking about it ending very soon.
Avatar by Pastel Mistress: http://pastelmistress.deviantart.com/On the one hand, we have a season 6 and a movie coming up, which seems like an apt point to wrap up this generation. On the other hand, this is the most lucrative MLP has been since its first generation. Even if this were the point in which G4 wraps up, we wouldn't see the next gen until at least 2018, and that's assuming they start immediately. So we've still got at least two or three years of pone, if that were the case.
Or whomever was the original creative lead retired/ got promoted/ left the company/ got assigned to a new franchise/ect, and the fandom is pulling its chicken little shtick. Again.

"I feel like I'm on a raft and surrounding me is an ocean of dumb."- Mr. Sark
I got into the fandom about two weeks before Party of One. It took me about that long to binge and catch up on episodes such that Party of One was the first episode I caught on its release date.
