Catan is awesome.
As for Daring Don't, my only issue with it is that it felt like they didn't do a good job of meshing the two universes together. It could be done, but I think it could've been done better.
Reaction Image RepositoryI've never played Catan. I'm still waiting for a chance to try it.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...@Fleetfoot Neither do I.
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeHey, how is the Round Robin going?
I didn't write any of that.Re: sun assumptions.
I figure that one does not dramatically pan up to a skylight through which the sun is beating down while ranting about ushering in years of heat, unless the plan involves the sun.
If it was a volcano, we'd have dramatic panning to said volcano.
I have a message from another time...have I ever mentioned that I really love human ponidox? especially when they're cuddling/snuggling their alternate selves.
Also, between the above image and this, this artist is quickly becoming one of my favorites

XP granted for befriending a giant magical spider!I'm sure that most of the times it's left unrevealed because it's about the author's personal life and no one cares enough to go digging.
I mean, in season 2, the Mane Six aren't famous. Knowing who Daring Do is is far less likely. That's an example of setting consistency.
As for the Sun, the Sun represents heat. Showing it doesn't mean that they're going to directly effect it any more than global warming warnings showing the Sun do.
Humans snuggling their pony counterparts will never not be adorable.
If they're going to remake the pilot (and THEY SHOULD, can we get a petition for that?), it should have the following things:
- Elaborate more on the nature of the Elements of Harmony and its Tree
- As an opening scene, have an expanded fight between Celestia and Nightmare Moon, with both sides using a combination of strength (to reflect the Earth Pony side of the alicorn) and magic (more than just generic energy beams, please) but with Nightmare getting the upper hand until Celestia grabs the Elements of Harmony (same as in "Princess Twilight Sparkle" but with more detail)
- Celestia comes across a prophecy of The Chosen One who will wield the power of harmony and reunite the sun and moon then searches for this chosen onea, going through many candidates (including Sunset Shimmer) until she comes across Twilight, reenacting the dragon hatching of her "Cutie Mark Chronicle".
- Twilight then has a montage (with a song) about her learning magic as she grows to adulthood, leading to Celestia having doubts how she is this chosen one, but nevertheless having faith in her.
- The scenes with Twilight meeting the rest of the Mane Six are expanded upon, playing out mostly the same as the pilot but having newly added parts that foreshadow the virtues they represent.
- Right before the Summer Sun Celebration, it cuts to Celestia reencountering Nightmare, but Celestia refuses to fight her again, leading to her being banished somehow.
- Nightmare has a Villain Song, titled "The Night Will Last Forever".
- When Twilight gets teleported away by Nightmare, the other Mane Five are attacked by Nightmare Moon's shadow minions. They have to fight through them to get to Twilight.
- When the Elements of Harmony initially fail against Nightmare Moon, Twilight tries to fight against her anyway, actually putting up a good fight and hurting Nightmare despite being a unicorn against an alicorn, but she fails anyway.
Otherwise, the trials of the Mane Six before getting to the castle should play out the same, and the "Harmony Blaster" scene should too.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.@Crow Can I have some more of those pics please?
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeHeh, the EQGRR site's kinda cute with the little profiles and such.
"No will to break."I have the headcanon that most Daring Do fans view the RD Expy as The Scrappy due to her potentially annoying fangirl nature, how she came out of nowhere, and the fact that for a while she causes more trouble then help.
@Crow Awesome. Pony Octavia is not pleased!
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeThat, and her friends are only there to tell her how awesome she is. And her constant attempts to seem self-important just mess up Daring's plans.
Though if you think about it, we'd only think otherwise because she's one of the protagonists. If it was an episode of Daring Do's Dangerous Darings, Rainbow would just come off as annoying.
"No will to break."That's pretty much exactly what I was going for. Imagine yourself being a fan of the Daring Do books, and you buy the recent one only to find out that a good chunk of DD's spotlight is being stolen by a self-insert mary sue.
@Marston Yeah but besides Rainbow Dash and Twilight who else reads Daring Do books anyway?
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeWell apparently first editions are fairly valuable, so they aren't completely obscure.
If Twilight and RD were the only Daring Do readers, I'd imagine that series wouldn't be successful. Cause you know, I'm totally sure that none of the other millions of characters in the series could possibly be Daring Do fans. Nope, it's just those two.
@Marston I was just asking, sheesh.
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeSorry, my mind went into "Torment Starscream" mode again.

@Marston Damn it, Marston.
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeThat's assuming that she writes the events completely as they happen, rather then simply using them for inspiration, while altering them as needed to tell a better story.
Since Daring Do is real, I wonder what her opinion is regarding Celestia's power level and the fairness of the Iron Pony competition.
I didn't write any of that.
The critics probably bashed it, but the kids loved it. Hardcore fans complained that it focused on an out of nowhere mare that just shows up to be awesome with no foreshadowing. And just so happened to arrive in the nick of time to help.
"No will to break."
