Just a Face and a Caption: Yet Another Christmas Carol

Other than the old man on the sled, who some visitors might mistake for someone else, I don't see anything that indicates it as a Christmas Carol adaptation instead of a different kind of Christmas special.

Agreed; looks too much like a Santa parody and not ACC.

Wrong Christmas story.

It is an example, IN SPACE! but it's hard to tell from that picture.

Oh yes that is certainly a JAFAAC. The old man is the Scrooge and the 11th Doctor shows him people corresponding to the Ghosts of Christmases — but you wouldn't know that unless you've already seen the episode.

This is a page that a collage would be strikingly appropriate for, I think.

I like that idea. It's too hard to pick one, but several would be great. Either a 2x2 3x2, or 3x3 will work.

The same scene, or roughly the same scene from each one. I'm thinking maybe the gravestone scene with the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come? That one should be easy-ish to find screencaps of from several. Ill do some looking later today.

Just wanted to say I'm definitely in favor of the collage. (long time no see btw, so... Howdy folks. :p)

It's at least better, though can be mistaken for generic ghosts.

That works really well, but can you re-do it with larger pics and less space between them? At that size the Mickeys Christmas Carol version (top left, for those not familiar) is really hard to see what's happening.

Replaced Mickey's with a closer shot... I like it even better now, there's an appropriate simmetry in all picks :3

While the current collage is good enough, if it had been me, I'd have gone for an image of Ebenezer Scrooge's gravestone showing his name, as the most iconic image from the various film versions. Just my opinion.

The first is great.

I like the narrow dividers of 14.2 better.

14.2 is good for me.

I can live with 14.2. One or two more votes for it and we can go with it.

If you didn't count mine, add it. I'm kind of undecided on the version, but either's good.

Cool. 14.2 is up and tagged. I didn't add the works yet; wasn't sure how we wanted to address a caption, and I need links for the column on the right.
