That's adjacent to the convoy, I think.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAh yes, the Godzilla games. I'm a fan. Doesn't exactly have a combined arms feel to it though.
Bleye knows Sabers.I don't think we're ready for Mt. Fuji.
It sounds like going there will lead to a boss fight.
And once we get both plasma shoulder weapons and give the ugly stick an actual handle. And maybe turn it into a giant electrified club of doom.
Click Click Boom BoomI think we're waiting for when Ronin has both Plasma Cannons before checking that out.
Tealove is best pony.Pony Fanon Index...Do Kaiju bones even conduct electricity?
"We're home, Chewie."Who knows.
But if they don't, we can always just attach some metal parts to it.
Click Click Boom BoomWe could run tiny wire through the pores of the bone and have conductive spikes that would be long enough to pierce through the skin, but not cause bleeding.
I'm in the mood now to take a Kaiju alive and turn it into our own cyborg.

It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble. The plasma blade idea is interesting, but I think that to make full use of it, we'll need additional arm hardpoints. I know we probably won't upgrade that now, but how much would that cost?
Anyway, I support Plasma for All, mk. 2.
- Upgrade Power twice (-2000)
- Purchase Hiryu Plasma Mortar (-1500) and equip to left shoulder.
- Repair Ronin.
- Research improved Cat III harvesting techniques.
- Research improved Incendiary Rounds. Focus is on increased damage.
Next week, we'll definitely have to make the Ugly Stick into a proper weapon.
Bandwagon plasma plan.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWe could always go Reverse Starscream and replace a revolver with a blade.
But since our hands can shift between hand and revolver I think we'll be fine for hardpoints if we have a sheath.

Tealove is best pony.Pony Fanon IndexYeah for the check out the convoy I say bring some jeeps along for easier communication with them.
Click Click Boom BoomYou mean make a plasma dagger with a leg-mounted sheath? That's probably a better idea.
But I still want to know how much it costs to add more hardpoints.

You'd need to research and build a new type of limb.
I guess I could start the next encounter tonight, with the sortie. Because it looks like we have consensus.

Bleye knows Sabers.Wild Ronin's nuclear reactor is given an overhaul, significantly streamlining the direct power link and increasing charge efficiency by 70%.
The extra power is immediately put to use when one of the Plasma emitter plans is constructed and installed onto the Jaeger's left shoulder. Jenny gives a wicked grin with the new firepower at her disposal.
The Jaeger's armor is pieced back together and the right arm rewired. Wild Ronin took one hell of a beating, but managed to stay in one piece regardless.
Research into Cat III harvesting (1) fails spectacularly when one of the barnacles taken from Orbeye becomes mobile and escapes containment. It smashes apart half of the Kaiju biology department before being put down by handheld rocket launchers. Any further research regarding Kaiju will have to be put on hold into the week after next as cleanup crews rebuild the floor.
Room for improved incendiary rounds finally finds time, (4) and the car-sized bullets are redesigned to better spread out the flaming fuel. They will now cause 1d10 flame damage as normal. Since the research had already been half-completed, the project was so simple and the shiny level 5 labs so productive the scientists also produce a second type of slugs for Wild Ronin to load; (3) Acid rounds.
Finally the transport copters pick up the Jaeger and haul it over to the convoy.
The large train of vehicles had been moving very slowly across wide roads for days, making barely any real progress. Sometimes they'd put on quick bursts of speed before slowing to a crawl again. As Wild Ronin flies over to the vehicles, it's made clear that most of them are civilian transport trucks, although some of them are simply cars or vans. Two squads of tanks and at least one of Jeeps are interspersed amid the vehicles. In total there are over a hundred vehicles. Wild Ronin's own Jeep squad is still a ways away.
As the mecha and her transport flight near the formation stops what little progress they are making across the dirt-surrounded highway. Several people exit their vehicles and begin waving their arms frantically and screaming, although it's impossible to tell what they want.
What action should Wild Ronin take, commanders?
Bleye knows Sabers.Have it pelvic thrust at the convoy.
Click Click Boom BoomThe idea of giant robot doing a crotch thrust while floating suspended in the air by military copters does amuse me somewhat.
Bleye knows Sabers.Dude, improved incendiaries and acid rounds? Jackpot!
Does Ronin have any accompanying units? If not, is there some sort of speaker system or other method of communication Jenny and Anne could use to communicate with the convoy?
"We're home, Chewie."Nope and nope. The copters would have to drop off Ronin before moving independently.
Also someone should probably call what kind of rounds Wild Ronin has in her revolvers right now.
Bleye knows Sabers.Acid in one gun, incendiary in the other.
If we have loudspeakers on Ronin, we should announce our radio frequency to open discussion?
Click Click Boom BoomWe should have the transport helicopters set Wild Ronin down, then land and attempt to talk to the people.
Also, the left cannon has acid rounds and the right one has fire rounds.
I just said you don't!
, Acid'n'fire. Got it.

Bleye knows Sabers.Videogmer's plan works for me, although I think we should add that Ronin raise her hands in the universal gesture of "We come in peace."
"We're home, Chewie."
Well, I played Godzilla Destroy All
KaijuMonsters Melee on Gamecube. Which had giant monsters and a giant robot (Mechagodzilla), along with a creature that was both giant robot and giant monster (Mecha King Ghidorah).Close enough?
EDIT: Hang on, I just thought of something. Didn't we want to investigate whatever was going on at Mt. Fuji?
