Beasts of Myths and Legends are attacking the Earth realm! With modern weapons unable to bring them down it has fallen upon a handful of young guardians to save the world.

They call themselves The Mystics.

Even since the times of King Arthur Warriors have stood guard against the creatures, The Knights Of The Round Table, The Warlocks, and now it has come to The Mystics to take up their weapons to defend the world from millions of magical creatures which threatened it. All while keeping their presence a secret. Each generation they passed down their weapons held their magic to their children and trained them for whatever dangers lie ahead.

Now in 2013 it has fallen upon a new generation to take up the mantle. Our story begins in the sleepy town of North-Woods. A moderately sized town in the middle of the West Coast's Dense forests. This small town secretly houses a huge concentration of magic and the Forest hold beasts innumerable.

Are these new Mystics up for defending the world? Can they win against hundreds of creatures and powerful enemies that can match them every step of the way!? Or will they fail before they even get a chance? We shall find out soon enough...

Note: This is not the whole story, if your character is more learned, other then this, feel free to PM me for more info. RULES

• 1. Please at least attempt to use proper spelling and grammar The occansional Typo's okay. And at least attempt to make each in character post at least a paragraph, or four lines long. Alright? I can understand an occasional sentence, but otherwise, try to make a moderately sized post
• 2. Please do not pick fights with the GM or the other members. If you have a problem with a ruling or a certain player's attitude please politely bring it up in a pm.
• 3. Please try to post at least once every three days. After three days without a response your character may be used as a npc when needed until you return. If you need to take an absence for longer than that please notify me or post about it in the OOC section. During combat this may lower to two days depending on the posting rate. If I am forced to depart, I shall announce one of you the GM in my stead.
• 4. Please wait at a bit after the game starts before you quit. Sometimes you sign up and turn out to not like it, Real life steps in, but just try giving a try. Alright?

• Codename: (What is the name they go by in their superhero form?)
• Age: (How old your guy or girl is, somewhere between 14-16.)
• Backstory: (Nothing major. If your signing up to be the next Mystic you may not already be part of the team, though you may have a brief knowledge of the secret history of the world due to their training.. They also may not have the majority of their powers, and are limited in the use of them before they get their guardian weapon).
• Race: (What kind of creature your character is. You can be any humanoid creature. The only exception to this is the Troll, however you can be a Trollkin with is basically a poor man's troll. Include notes of any weaknesses or strengths in the race.)
  • Human: Only a human may become a mystic.
  • Elf: Proud, Intelligent beings, Elves are incredibly quick, and to a small extent, immortal only in danger of being slain in battle.
  • Trollkin: After the Death of Trolls in the great Godwar of Ragnarok, The Trollkin are incredibly durable, large and strong, and, even when wounded, capable of boistering their healing factor by devouring large quantities of meat.
• Spells: (At the start of the game you may only have two.)(Please try to be specific about how many times you can do it in the battle, if it will take long and how you go about doing it.)(Certain kinds of spells must be handled differently. If you have elemental powers you must have both spells must be elemental powers. If you are able to summon a creature you must only have one spell.) (If you are the older one you may have three spells but they cannot be too powerful.) (If your character race looks obviously inhuman you must devote one other spell to transforming to a human form to go out in public.)

  • Bruiser: Slow tanks which focus on getting up close and personal.

HAHAHAHAHA I love myths! So hopefully I can help out here! I'll post my character as soon as I'm done!

Name: Ralxin Timuntz (Rahl-ksin Tim-uhnts)

Codename: Nyret

Age: 15

Backstory: Ralxin's school life was and is a bad one. He isn't a good student. All of his teachers say he could be good but the fact that he's lazy is a downer. His parents then forced him to sign up for track so he could.."meet people" they called it. Though Ralxin 'knew' it was because his grades they wanted him out of the house. One day at one of his track meets, while he was running, a shockwave shook the runners and crowd. Ralxin fell, his vision started to fade in and out. During the times he could see, all he noticed were people running, and 50 or so small...things chucking fireballs at them. Eventually he fully blacked out and when he awoke, his dad was on the sofa beside him, sweating. His dad told him that during the incident his mom had died protecting him from what attacked. Then the beans were spilled about everything: Why his name was so weird(he got it from his mom's mentor), why he was thrown in track(his family is naturally weak so speed is all they have), and why his mom protected him. It was because she was a thing called the Nyret. A semi-armor passed down through the family with Nyret being the title attached to it. His mom was the most recent one of the family and it just got passed down one gen. To him.

Race: Human

Spells: He is only able to perform these with his Mace:

Increment—> This spell is performed by saying "Increment". Whenever it is said by Ralxin he gets a 50 second power buff so that he can swing his mace faster. The downside is that he can't use it more than 5 times a day. If he does, he starts to feel nauseous and gets uncoordinated.

Engulf—> The Mace's head gets circled in quickly spinning air and when thrown, goes at extremely high speeds. The amount of air changes the speed and Ralxin can determine how much he wants by saying "Engulf ___ percent"

Class: Agile

Abilities: Ralxin runs track normally at school and is thus fast on his feet which gives him a way to fight that is different than most. What he does is he runs lines beside the opponent, hitting them on every passing. He either does that or he mainly kicks at the person/people he's facing since he has strong, quick legs.

Equipment: The Mace

Henshin!: Air starts to thinly circle around him at very high speeds, making viewers be able to still see him through the air but his image starts to fizzle and warp until his suit forms on him. Then the air slows down and there he is. Takes about 5 seconds and goes to/finishes his head last.

Appearance: Normal: Ralxin has medium length black hair that sometimes goes over his brown eyes. His eyebrows are black and bushy. He has a slim nose and wide chin. Ralxin is a tall, skinny, mixed between black and white kid so his skin is a very light brown. He has big hands and feet. Normally he wears a light gray jacket and black t-shirt, while his pants are faded blue jeans. Ralxin has rectangle framed white glasses.

Some in depth explaining on the colors: Helmet=dark green Rectangle points=black Suit to feet=black Bottom of shoes=dark green Gloves=gradient of black to dark green when they reach the end. Then entire suit has only one glowing color which is the eye, meaning that when in the dark, all you see is one creepy eye.

Important NP Cs: His dad: A 43 yr old man who was married to the Nyret for 21 years before she died. Knows about the Nyret only.

Player's Use: Yes

Player Schedule: Randomly through the weekdays and randomly, but oftenly, during weekends.

Other: Ralxin is very weak, making a defensive player AKA a tank, a nightmare for him. He is a light-footed person, making stealth a breeze for him. The Nyret suit gives Ralxin a slight speed boost.

Sorry for taking forever to copy-paste. I was making two other characters..

I'll get my character sheet up again tomorrow. I wasn't sure if I had to sign up or not. Oh yeah, and there is no list of NP Cs to look at on the first post, in case you wanted to add that. I'll take the bow like before.

I was thinking about waiting for you guys to meet them, but let's have a poll. Who here wants a list of NP Cs?

Also, what are the thoughts on the teleportation orbs? Anyone want thm back?

Alright, just making sure this didn't die whil I was gone.

Here is my character, he's a wraith (since you said any humanoid) , if you don't want him just tell me and I can make a different character.

• Name: Rivux Red

• Codename: Undecided

• Age: 15

• Back-story: Even though he’s a wraith he was found and basically raised by a wealthy man named Trenton Red he helped him out in his library and learned a lot about different beasts there eventually Trenton created a spell that allowed Rivux to transform into a more human looking appearance. He then started showing him the human world, however they were unlucy enough to run into a manticore and a poisoned needle struck Trenton Red he would hold on for a few days and then he would die, Rivux didn’t know what to do he had no place to go. When the reading of the will came along Rivux was supposed to inherit about 2,600,000 but the greedy reletives refused to give it to him, so to court they went, one of the lawers found out Rivux’s secret of being a wraith and used the information to ruin any chance Rivux had of wining after all giving that much money to a monster (which wraiths are defined as) would be a waste. Rivux got nothing and was forced out of the house with nothing but his clothes and a few of his possessions.

• Race: Wraith: Wraiths can fly and can see in darkness better than humans, however they go through moons cycles where they are strongest on the day of the full moon and weakest on the day of the new moon, however they can transform at any given time.

• Spells: Morph (splits his specter like tail into two legs though he has no toes on his feet just a basic foot shape grows fake hair (see appearance for more details)

• Class: Agile

• Abilities: Scanning: He is smart and can usually find weak points after observing for a while.

• Equipment: Naturally sharp Claws, and String Daggers, String Daggers are pretty much normal daggers with wire or some sort of long connection cord attached to the hilt so he can swing them around and retrieve them quite easily. Appearance: Human: Long Black hair wears tattered dark clothing usually gray is almost always glaring.

• Henshin!: Fake hair falls out Phantom Cloth protrudes from chest and envelops him his arms pop out ripping holes in the cloth, his “tail” then rips a hole through the bottom of the cloth he then takes a hold of the cloth blocking his face and rips it off his eyes shine green and he’s ready to go in about fifteen seconds
