Suggestion: First Name Ultimatum

I came across this picture we can use. I thought we could use another picture for Alvin and the Chipmunks and since that's been going on for over three generations . . .

Ehhh… Don't think I like it. At least I wouldn't use the whole thing. The first image is bad quality, I'm not sure what to make of the second, and I hate that ugly yellow text on the third. I wouldn't mind using a better image with a speech bubble. Either that, or something from a comic.

Huh? What does Spongebob have to do with anything? He meant he wasn't a fan of the image, not the show. On an image pickin' discussion, all opinions are valid. I'd say we should look for an image, but that suggestion isn't very good.

Um... better. I approve, pending other suggestions.

And it probably doesn't have to be redirected or whatever term that's used here for Alvin and the Chipmunks, it could just be ambiguous since there are other "Alvin's" out there like . . . Ooh! Alvin from ParaNorman, the deep-submergence vehicle DSV Alvin that found the RMS Titanic, the name of a planet from ALF . . . and that's all I really got . . .

Though in my opinion, I think there should be a tad more pictures of the franchise, I mean we have plenty of Avatar The Last Airbender pictures, The Smurfs pictures. I dunno, it's my opinion. Though itt may or may not be worth mentioning that the picture is from a Dell Comic that's from AATC . . . though I don't think anybody here's familiar with it as discussed under the "Discussion" page there . . .

Because how much/little a particular work is represented is irrelevant to IP procedure; it's how well a given pic demonstrates/illustrates a trope that gets it merit.

I see nothing wrong with 7 if we crop that bit on the left.

I dug through three books of my calvin and hobbes collection, and they only seem to say CALVIN when they're saying long sentences. I'll keep looking.
