- The ending fight had some pretty decent gags, but was I the only one who found it a little too brutal? I cringed during that graphic shot of Peter and Homer getting their faces caved in.

Oh yeah. That has actually been one of my bigger issues with Family Guy in recent years. The violence overall has been overly gratuitous for nothing more than shock humor.

This is a minor point, but it's kind of odd that Bart wasn't at least a little surprised to meet a talking baby. Actually, now that I think about it, why didn't any of the Simpsons find anything strange about a walking, talking dog coming into their home?
Oh yeah. They could have been like, "So does everything talk in your world?" Or they could have guessed that Herbert Powell's baby translator was in use.

@redhed 311 - What i meant was that Marge's statement seemed a little mean-spirited and condescending, something you'd expect from Lois. I don't recall her ever talking that way about SLH, she never even used the words "Bad Dog"

Family Guy has overly long Overly Long Gags and completely unfunny Shock Humor ultraviolence, but the rest is usually okay.

I'm showing my geekiness here, but I remember her saying it in "Separate Vocations" (of course SLH was Mis-blamed for something Homer did in that situation).

[up] And in "The Springfield Files", except she also adds "bad cat" and "bad faun", before shooing out the faun.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!

OK, while at times this was Actually Pretty Funny, it was inevitably a turnoff. The carwash scene was just horrendous, and it went on for far too long.

Given, I am someone who found the Quagmire raping Marge and killing the Simpsons gag utterly hilarious.

Really, though, I think this season is just gonna be terrible. Last season had an intriguing premise, but this one shows that this show is dead.
