Fan Hater needs a lot of help. The description is really long and incoherent, and full of errors. The "Websites with a lot of Fan Haters" thing seems superfluous and like it's asking for trouble. It even starts off with an incorrect definition of Fan Hater that contradicts what is said in Hatedom.
We can definitely keep in-universe stuff. On another note the description needs a rewrite: as determined in an Ask The Tropers discussion that led to this thread, Fan Hater and Hatedom can exist independently and aren't really subtrope and super trope.
EDIT: Goddamn smartphone autocorrect. ARRRGH!
Okay so maybe "full of errors" isn't right. It's more just... way too long and rambling. It seems to me like a trope description should describe the trope in question and then move on. This description goes on a long-winded rant about the causes and problems of fan-hating, attempts to psycho-analyze fan haters (thereby committing the same sin of stereotyping that it whines about fan haters doing) and just goes on and on endlessly.
I feel like the whole big rant can be moved to the Analysis page. The main page should be used for a description and examples (in-universe only in this case) and nothing else.
If no one else thinks it's worth rewriting I could always just do it myself.
Well, since everyone agreed that the "list of websites containing Fan Hating" list needed to go, I've gone ahead and removed that.
What we seem to be disagreeing on is whether or not the description should be shortened, with some people saying it needs to be left as is and others saying it's way too long and rambling.
So, I suggest we settle this with a vote. In fact, I took the liberty of making a crowner to help decide:
This is not a trope, nor a discussion to make a page into a trope. Should this be moved to special efforts?
Anyway, I see no problem with listing websites if the purpose of a community is to hate fans of a work. (or if there is at least a section of a website dedicated to fan of a work they do not like, as is the case with Twilight Sucks)
We did use to discuss general wiki issues here (what to do with the darth wiki) but we did that before we had a special efforts thread. I figured with that in existence the trope repair shop would default to...being the trope repair shop.
Apparently not. Still is a website actually does exist to hate fans or has a section dedicated to it I do not see the problem with listing them, unless they remove the section or change their purpose.
This is about the Fan Hater page.
Some people feel that the trope's description is too long and rambling, filled with rants and needs to be shortened.
Others feel that the trope's description should be left as it is, that any changes would undermine the idea behind the trope and its page.

Shorten the description, move the analysis elements to the Analysis page.
