Hi new here :)

I have two deities, both fraternal twins. She's Hot as Hell and has a metal band. Her aim is the eventual genocide of all humanity, which she sees as sinful, though she does have good and sympathetic traits, and these do show later on when she starts to question her goals. (Yeah, she caused the Biblical flood).

He's a stoner and someone who has known his sister's plans for millions of years, and has prevented her from directly punishing those who sin. He is a believer in non-interference and forgiveness, and the only time he does interfere is simply sending humanity a quick nudge in the right direction, so to speak). However, unlike Abrahamic depictions of God, he is a flawed character, and for a while, flirts with ideas similar to his sister's.

They are both Chessmasters and Cunning Linguists, and manipulate and lie to each other and humanity.

The main plot involves an extremely overt war 20 Minutes into the Future which is more or less a world that is essentially an exaggeration of the present until our beloved siblings fuck shit up. Many people change sides in this conflict as the world is thrown into chaos.

Hmm...ever read Good Omens, because this reminds me of it.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.

An entity that simultaneously indulges in human music and seeks the annihilation of humanity? That seems a bit odd.

That actually sort of (kind of) reminds me of gnosticism.

Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent.

That would only be Gnosticism if the gods were trying to elevate humanity beyond the world of imperfect matter.

It's an 'if you tilt your head sideways and squint' thing, but I'm referring to the split between the flawed (possibly evil) Demiurge creator-god and the knowledge-giving Jesus Christ emanating from the real God.

Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent.

[up][up][up][up]

Basically, the idea is that all emotions, sin, music, self-expression have actually existed since time immemorial, even the gods didn't make any of it, so it's not really a human thing.
