I really hate this image for the page. It's kind of blurry, you have to read through several walls of text to get to the part about the trope, and it doesn't really show it that well.

What do you guys think?

I think that that image combines the problems of being text-reliant with the one that whoever painted/inked that did so in a shower. And don't get me started on that weird description...

I don't like pulling images that one way or another work, even if very little, but the quality makes it impossible to read without hurting my eyes, and I don't see the imagery adding much at all.

It's so ugly. It's like whoever made it had a stomach virus while simultaneously suffering from alcohol poisoning. surprised And That's Terrible. Pull.

I do read Oo TS, but I've never understood why so many people seem to think it makes for good page images. Walls of Text and the unique stick figure style work fine for a comic, but for a page image? Not so much.

[up] So much agreed. I actually love the comic, and it's great, but it's so bad as page images in general.

It's as if the entire purpose of the comic is to screw with tropers. It's tropetastic, yet so bad for images. Anyway, onto searching for a replacement... if we need one.

Actually, this one is pretty good. [1] (or for Laser-Guided Karma)

I don't understand that at all. The old image is another one that would work great for a quote.

[up] What goes around comes around. Guy knocks down dominoe. Chain reaction causes another dominoe to hit him.

[down] But it's still a good metaphor.

Visually, I like the domino pic a little better than the current one on Laser-Guided Karma...not sure that it would actually count for "karma", though.

I don't think the domino one is good for Laser-Guided Karma. It's too obvious. I find it closer to a representation of a more "real" interpretation of karma. Which still makes it a good image.
