Poor Image: Awesome.The Avengers

First of all, it's already included on Franchise.Marvel Cinematic Universe. Secondly, and more importantly, if you weren't a Marvel geek before you saw The Avengers, would you have felt that impressed by everyone not fighting, but just watching aliens screech?

I think if someone uploaded an image of the Avengers ganging up on Loki, it would make a good compromise-fanboys and fangirls could see their favorite heroes together, but doing something that might look cool even to casual fans. I have a screencap that I use as desktop wallpaper, say the word and I'll post a smaller version here.

Seems weaker. They look a lot more ready to rumble in the current.

... really, I think that a screencap of Hulk swinging Loki around with the caption "puny god" would work really well. Alternatively, pretty much any screengrab from The Oner.

I'd agree with picking "Puny God", if not for the fact that Loki getting left for dead already graces Funny.The Avengers. Then again, we could replace that with something else (Hulk punching Thor comes to mind).

Alternatively, we could use Iron Man redirecting the nuke away from New York, or maybe Coulson shooting Loki (but only if we see both Coulson and Loki at the same time).

Someone else should take those pictures, since I can't take Blu-Ray screencaps (the picture I uploaded derives from an HD YouTube trailer).

The "puny god" scene sounds good in theory. However, I can't seem to find a good still of it. As a backup/alternative, might I suggest this still instead?

Crowner?

Both 4 and 12 weren't even really CMOA. I mean, sure, cool moments, but "pointing weapons at a downed guy" and "Hulk taking out a jet fighter" are on the low end of the spectrum for a movie full of HSQ. Though it really speaks to Hulk's awesomeness that "Eh, he just took down a fighter jet with his bare hands" is one of his more mundane acts.

16 could work. It certainly was a C Mo A in a scene filled with C Mo As.

I don't think Hulk would show up well in #16 if one shrunk it. Even if we fail to decide on a replacement picture, would we still need to pull the current for already being used on a different page?

The clock's up. As the duplicate pic is on an Awesome page, I don't think it's enough of an issue to warrant pulling one of them. If anyone comes up with an unequivocal replacement, we can come back to this. Locking up.
