I am interested and must pick out a character. Hmm.
Also, um, all those options sound potentially interesting and fun. Hmm. Ummm... will need to think on it. ^^;

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Interested. So, what century is this?
Good to be backGiven that it doesn't take place on Earth that's kind of irrelevant.
"Yup. That tasted purple."... centuries have no bearing on an exploded fantasy world. :|
Avatar SourceInterested into where this goes.
Stop caring and embrace nullness.Sounds interesting.
KLON L.A.: Klone Radio ''We play the songs that sound more like everyone else than anyone else!"No, I mean like, what type of technology do they have?
Good to be backMedieval stasis. Technology slid a little backwards with the explosions.
Another thing about the chain metal—in some places, they go far enough inland that magic can be used to create, say, complete swords from it. There's only about a dozen of the things, and people who carry them tend to have no friends. After all, these are meant to hold the world together.
Avatar SourceRight, um... I think kind of freeform-ish would be the best, with the ability to go and deal with various issues as they come up. Um, if that makes sense.
Also I've picked out one of my characters.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."I really am intrigued by this. I want in!
This would be my first RP. Please be easy on me.
The most edgy person on the Internet. It would really help if there was more interest. Hm.
Avatar SourceI am interested !
Only one, but things can get...confusing. How many Time Cops does it take to change a light bulb?Hmmm, I am intrigued.
Maybe posting sign-up sheets will draw more people out?
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)I'm interested.
Property of Gbrngfol.
An old man sits on the edge of a wooden platform over a blazing void. The light shining up from it is indigo today, and dulled enough that life doesn't waste away in its glare.
"I remember," he says, not looking over his shoulder to see if anyone is even listening, "I remember when the world was whole."
So, the premise is this: nearly a lifetime ago, some vast cataclysm took place, creating a star in the centre of the world that threatened to blow it apart and kill everything on it. The gods stepped in, sacrificing themselves to hold everything together with vast, apparently invulnerable chains. The smallest—those that bridge the gap between the plates left over—are about as thick as skyscrapers. Those that descend into the star itself and hold the world together? About as thick as Ireland is wide. They're the only way between the various plates, too—bridges just wouldn't survive.
The seas have drained, and the only sources of water are the angels and Naiads, who work to provide enough for people and wildlife to survive. Naturally, this isn't really working, so there's a lot of desert. Elves are still nomads that rely on magic to sustain them and the trees they plant (mostly on the highlands, at that) and therefore never cross from plate to plate.
Not sure if there's dwarves or if they mostly fell out of the bottom of the world in the cataclysm.
Lesse... the star's light? It's highly lethal to stay in when it gets towards a more pinkish hue, and it's basically permanent antimagic. Since the God of the Sun sacrificed himself, well... that's basically the only bright natural light, everything else is nebulae and stars.
There's some stuff about individual nations and plates, but...
So, choices:
Freeform, or a plot to find out just what the hell happened? There's a plate full of creepy monsters where the dead seem to keep going until they're rotted to nothing that might hold some clues...
Or there's the choice to deal with the kingdom that collapsed into slavery and raiding others for resources.
A few collapsed mage's towers were known to have engines capable of powering spells continuously, but the cost—lives, the less easily fulfilled, the stronger the spell—was ruled too high back when they were built. They could be useful for providing water.
So, any interest?
