Terrible stats for such a common trope, and the page's own examples just use it as a stock phrase. Do we have this elsewhere under a different name?
They are The Untrustworthy! That sounds more like a film title.
I support a rename for above reasons, by the way.
Check out my fanfiction! The title also sounds like a Trope Trope that a trope's use does not guarantee goodness, like Tropes Are Tools. It's very non-indicative. I support renaming as well.
Well, since it seems to be based on the stock phrase "Never trust an X", so why don't we call it Never Trust An X.
Also, there aren't nearly enough examples for folders. I'm removing them.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Rename this. I am not clear on what the current name means, anyhow.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWell, we already have Chronic Backstabbing Disorder for untrustworthy characters, and a whole index of Betrayal Tropes. The only purpose this trope seems to serve is to use the phrase.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. The difference between this and Chronic Backstabbing Disorder is that the latter is focused on the betrayer's perspective. Never Trust A Trope also doesn't require betrayal, apparently.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThis is totally different from CBD. This is more about one person's prejudice. They're not necessarily actually untrustworthy, just untrusted.
I'd go with Doesnt Trust The X for a name. Going with Never Trust An X makes it seem like X is actually untrustworthy, leading to the confusion we've already seen in this topic. Plus it'd be a stock phrase.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Or Doesnt Trust An Ex - it's about distrusting members of a specific group.
I assume you mean Doesnt Trust An X, as Doesnt Trust An Ex sounds like a whole nother trope.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Ha ha... right.
Though I would support a suitable descriptive word rather than "X." This shouldn't be a page about inserting words into a phrase (though that's exactly what the page's current examples do).
Me too, but I can't think of a decent descriptive word since it covers pretty much anything.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. It's about a character's distrust of a specific group. The lead gives examples of the group: "ethnicity/species/nationality/religion/blood type or what-have-you." So I'd recommend Doesnt Trust A Group.
Most of the examples seem to be using this as just a Stock Phrase (as Amy Gdala said).

Bumping, since there is a crowner now.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCalling for the rename.

So do we branstorm alternate names?
I suggest Untrustworthy Group Accusation.
Ugh. Too clinical. The aforementioned Doesnt Trust A Group gets my vote.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I like that one.
Titles crowner's hooked and noted in the thread title.
The problem with Never Trust Those Guys is it's either saying they're legitimately untrustworthy (which isn't this trope) or it's dialog
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Oh, hey, I hadn't voted. to Doesnt Trust A Group, to the others.
Crown Description:
Vote up for yes, down for no.
"Trope" as a placeholder again, as well as a Stock Phrase-sounding title. The actual trope described is "Character has a belief that people from [group X] are untrustworthy".
