That's... The best kickstarter video I've ever seen.
Bleye knows Sabers.I didn't believe you until I saw it, but holy shit, it is. What's Iron Brigade?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Its a Tower Defense/ 4 player coop game set in an alternate time where you fight on mech like legs called trenches with WW 2 style guns and tech to take on sentient television based monsters and try to keep them from taking over the world. It used be known as Trenched but copyrights forced it to be renamed.
More can be found out here:http://ironbrigadegame.com/index.html
Back on Topic: If you pledge 100 dollars you can get a bloodline in the game designed by you.

I like how Brad is in an old folk's home while Tim's clearly older
I giggled at JOKESTEALER PRO TRIAL EDITION.
I'm looking forward to this game. Brad Muir is great, and hopefully if this game gets pitched, we'll get another hilarious Giant Bomb Quick Look with him in it. I still re-watch the ones for Iron Brigade and crack up at all the saluting.
“Dude, sucking at something is the first step to being sorta good at something!” - Jake the Dog^Yeah, that was great(Jokestealer I mean)
Though I didn't know what was the original joke they stole
What Schaefer whispered about the script? I can't hear the joke D: Was it "golden sex god"?

yes it was.
So if you guys had the 100 dollars to get your own blodline what would your house name, colour, sigil, motto and castle name be?
Pikachus.
Everything.
Motto: Pika-piiiiiika!
I kid, they probably couldn't get away with that either.
Do we know yet what abilities the heroes might have, and to what degree they pass down? For example, can a house produce almost nothing but mages?
If so, then I might go with House Artis, colour leaf-green or deep purple, sigil an arcane mark, castle Fortis Arcanum, motto "Veritas via arcanum, potentia via arcanum".
My Games & WritingAnd we are past the goal now
So tempted. At the $100 level too.
That's gonna be a long list of bloodlines to pick from.
Better for us!
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I can't wait for the elaboration on the title
My bet: The game's world is a chalice. Somehow.
Wasn't it explained in that trailer?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I think so. I stand by what I said though.
Sometimes I wonder what people are thinking when they fund something like this. This is basically just a pitch; no art, no designs; nothing has been drawn yet. There are some kickstarters out there that have a part of the game done (or even just a mockup) and yet this one has nothing. What are they thinking?
The Power of Hope, my friend. -solemn nodding-
They trust the developer and they like the pitch. Not sure what more you need. I mean, all games have to start from a pitch, right? Even AAA ones have a pitch made to some publisher's boardroom before any time is wasted on programming. Having a partially done product just implies that you're desperate.

It's from a known and beloved publisher. That is a good start.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.People like Double Fine's everything, so there's that.
I'd say I owed them two bucks from the pitch video alone.
I'd want to know that basics of how the game is played before I actually buy the game though. We talkin' Final Fantasy Tactics or Disciples?
Bleye knows Sabers.I believe in the developer, I like the pitch (a lot), and the art they've put out is nicely evocative (to me).
So since even 20 backers now got this game... Tried out the beta and I gotta say that its great game ._.; I don't want to use term "love" since thats reserved for Okami, but yeah, its fun strategy game, I think artstyle looks weird but it looks great in the combat
I already poseted this in the kickstarter thread but i want to get this out there.
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/doublefine/double-fines-massive-chalice
Double fine is seeing if lightning can strike twice with Massive Chalice
A tactics based generational strategy game
You are an immortal king tasked with fending off a demon invasion prohecized to last hundreds of years. To do this you must engage the demons in turn-based tactical combat simlar to final fantasy tactics, and on the strategy level you must forge alliances, arrange marriages, decide if your heroes should stay on the battlefield or retire to sire new generations of heroes before the reach old age and die.
The kickstarter has already reached half of its goal and less than 30 days remain. This project will be done by a separate team at double fine so broken age will not suffer for it.
I plan of getting the 250 value pledge.
