Shin Megami Tensei IV *SPOILERS ABOUND*:

I was surprised Nergal was there, myself. Dude doesn't look law whatsoever.

If anyone wants any Famed-making tips, there's a few "trends" I've noticed with fusion accidents. First, I've never gotten an accident demon of a lower level than the "Intended" demon, with the exception of Slime who I think might be special (due to being associated with fusion accidents throughout the series). The most common levels of the "accidental" demon seem to be the same level as the intended demon, two levels higher, and three levels higher; one level higher seems to be rarer. If you're willing to spend a bit you can buy as many demons as possible in that level range, which will make the accident, when you have one, more likely to be a Famed.
My first famed was Yoshitsune, created by fusing a dead Kali and Pixie. I got Jeanne after an hour of fusing a dead Mad Gasser with a Dead Patriot. Haven't gotten any other famed since. My sis on the other hand got Huang Di while trying to make a Pendragon.

After 2 hours and probably over a hundred thou in the hole to Mido, Jeanne get!

And holy crap she's weak to fire. That's certainly a grim bit of humor...

No Hagen after an hour and a half so I'll take a break now. Siegfried looks like a bitch to get, as well, due to the large amount of demons in his "accident range." Everyone after that looks reasonably simple though.

EDIT: Finally got him. Excluding the break I'm pretty sure that was at least three hours. tongue

Man I feel sorry for Tokisada. He has no idea why I'm attacking and only realizes he's going to be sacrificed to God again as he's dying.

Well, his head is already easily-detachable!

Too sleepy to get Siegfried tonight. But I now have half the accident demons. This makes me prouder than it probably should. tongue

So I finally managed to see a screenie of Yamato Takeru's new design, and I gotta say, it is as badass as Gamefaqs said it was. It reminds me of a robotic Okuninushi, which I found intriguing.
I've finished my first playthrough and got the bad ending. Now I'm on NG+ doing a reincarnation cycle.

And holy crap, I didn't know those first main quests could give out so much XP! The demons I recruited went from level 1 to level 23 instantly!

I'm impressed with your pace- You're getting pretty lucky, all things considered.

...

I'm still zoning for White Rider at this point.

Aaaaand Mr. Guan arrives on the scene!

That Rama thing though was... wow. I mean, he's not even in the normal accident range for Alciel!

What's a good strategy for Xi Wangmu and what level should I be? Even with Zanma she keeps kicking my ass.

[up] Try doing nothing but debuffing her during the turns you can't hurt her. She'll only use her buff-all move once.

I don't know if I have any demons that have both Zan attacks and debuffs. Do you have any suggestions for which ones to use? I'm level 28 by the way.

Time for the great white whales of Fusion Accidents: Huang Di and Tokisada. The good news: there's a much smaller "accident range" for these two since they're so high-leveled, meaning the odds of getting them in an accident are increased! The bad news: I'm not using Fouls, so the odds of getting an accident itself are halved.

Try getting the material demons dead then, at least- It doesn't seem to help much, but it does seem to help.

[up] With a Foul and both demons dead the odds are about 1/11. Without Fouls, but both demons still dead, the odds are half that or 1/22. To get Tokisada I'm using a dead Hanuman and a dead Quetzalcoatl, which makes Maya normally.
How do you get your demons killed for fusion?

The Headless One joins Team Flynn. Now only the Yellow Emperor remains. Seems like a good place to quit for the night.

I was gonna post this in the main thread, but I suppose it's "safer" to put here. I present Neutralmore. I also apologise from the deepest depths of my heart to everyone sick of hearing that song... tongue
So in tether we dance together. Our bonds have forged all weather.

We dance, we play, we fight, we run, we breathe, we outlast the storm!

I will never be sick of hearing that song.
Uh the fundamental spirit of cooperation and unity that drives the human race is unconfirmed to be more efficient than random computer input

I just knew instantly when I first saw the game beaten that it NEEDED to be paired with that. The chorus/final refrain on the music video just describe the events of the Neutral route eerily well.
