I know he's as Earthnoid as you or I, but have you considered using some strain of Namor?

I've briefly considered Namora (I'm near positive she's shown up in one marvel animated show at some point), but I want Colossus to be the primary big guy.

Which leaves Prowler as the Smart Guy, Wasp as... what, the Chick? Dare I say maybe even the Leader?

If you're looking for a second badass normal outside of Prowler, Daredevil's the best I can come up with.

.....would Iron Fist, with his origin in Kun-Lun, count as your maybe-alien member (I'm not sure what your criterion for that is, honestly)? Not to mention that Danny can make for a pretty decent Heart.

The recent reveal of The Sentry being back gave me quite an idea for a scene in...something...involving my character Terry Bramford. Namely, he's actually Bob's son, but given for adoption to spare him the violence of The Void.

And now Bob's back...and this happens.

Terry spent a good three minutes gawking - the man looked by all accounts somewhat like himself, but older, harsher in some aspects, formed...differently. He looked at his similarly stunned friends, as if wanting to confirm this wasn't some sort of dream.

Bob sighed, and finally spoke up, "...Terry. Your name's...Terry, right? Well...er, I'm...I'm your dad, your biological dad. I'm Bob Reynolds."

Terry had known he was adopted. He knew it from the age of ten. He'd never known his dad, just known his identity, his deeds, his convoluted history. And Terry, every night, struggled not to dream a world into being where he could say or do something about that.

Terry shook for a moment, tears rushing from his eyes - and he pivoted on his feet and flew off.

Bob pondered, Do I fly after him? Maybe I should give the poor guy some space. He and his team just dealt with so much. Maybe we should just do this mind to mind...no, no I've got to be better. I need to talk to him, help get through this together.

Right, so that Animated Crossover Story with marvel Characters from Different Animated series that I was brainstorming:

After pondering it, I decided to opt out on The Prowler, and use the Spider-Man: The Animated Series incarnation of Dare Devil instead.

Oddly enough, Matt's only had two animated appearances, the other being the second season opener of the animated Fantastic Four series from the 90's.

I chose him because while's apparently had a few adventures with the Avengers, he still seems pretty distanced from them. Also, his powers are unique, with his Super-Senses putting him more in the Bad Ass Abnormal terrify.

So now the new line up is:

I think I want to do another three, but I'm trying hard to avoid too much power overlap. No other Mutants if possible. Not sure who else I can use.

I'm looking for something like A Third Path To The Future or A Man of Iron. Heroes Assemble and Dial are okay but they got boring, The Sider was awesome but now it's trash(since chapter ~25).

Putting together some disorganized thoughts for a pitch for a X-Men spinoff book of Renew Your Vows. Since none of the crap from the past 10-15 years or so never happened, it would be a really good way to give them the hard reset they’ve needed for ages.

What I would want to see is to have them commit to making them a legitimate minority group, with heavy parallels to the disability and LGBT communities since I think that's a better reference point anyway. (There will be a lot of ret-canonning from 616, but I think I figured out a way to make this work within the context of the story)

The first generation of activists would be people like Charles Xavier and the original X-Men, and is considered part of the larger Civil Rights Movement in the Marvel Universe during the 60s and 70s.

The second generation of activists were the more diverse and larger Claremont era team. Along with the super-heroics by the X-Men, there was a larger effort to make their cause more visible than the relatively secretive first generation, and worked to advocate for legislation protecting mutant rights.

Younger Mutants are the most diverse and visible generation, and you start to see mutant subculture and Mutant pride movements. You could even have things like #Actually Mutant hashtags, Mutant Pride Parades, debates on language, and conflict between, for example, parent lead groups looking for cures of whatever, versus self advocacy groups arguing for providing accommodations and acceptance, etc. I also want to see new, younger, leaders in the Mutant Rights Movement and X-Men, who are open about their powers, and organizing through social media and the like. This could also be a good way to have conflict within the mutant community itself. (ie Mutant isolationists vs. advocates for inclusion and accommodation in regular society)

Another really interesting possibility that RYV opened up, is the functional Distinction Without a Difference between kids born to super-powered parents, and mutants. When Professor X reaches out to Peter and MJ about the possibility of Annie attending their school, you get this great little exchange.

Professor X: This School could be a Haven for a child like Annie. A place where she can grow and develop among others who share her unique heritage.

MJ: Annie isn't even a mutant, she's a kid with superpowers.

Logan: For some people, that is the definition of a mutant. So far, you've kept your kid's powers a secret. How d'ya think the world's going to react once people figure out the web slingers got a Spiderling?"

Yes I know a Mutant is technically a person with the “X Gene”, but the distiction between a mutant and a super powered human is still rather arbatrary in practice, and they would face a lot of the same prejudices and issues. I would like to see that played up, and have Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, become a haven for other super-powered kids beyond Mutants. Superheroes with potentially inheritable powers would make incredibly valuable allies, and many of the Mutants would embrace that.

Currently working on a special 60th anniversary Spider-Man anthology comic book one-shot, paid entirely out of my own pocket, each story is largely Fix Fic for a number of stories in the last few years, including bringing back a 'true' Ben Reilly to replace the one we've had since Clone Conspiracy. Also, I take full advantage of how 'sinless' Norman Osborn presently is, and have him team up with Peter in a very special rescue mission.

I've also went down a massive 'Spider-'Toon' revival rabbit hole, following the progress of the fan-made sequel seasons to the MTV Spider-Man cartoon, Spectacular Spider-Man, and even Spider-Man Unlimited. I really want to start producing a sequel series of my own, possibly for Spider-Man: TAS, but would probably replace all the 'Carnage is Jack the Ripper' stuff that had been planned if the show had remained on air...I'd tweek it to include Morlun and set up an Inheritor arc for the season, so Peter finds Mary Jane, but has to say goodbye to her to take the fight to Morlun's family in the Spider-Verse.

Ideally, I'd love for those to be non-profit comics, but they'd be expensive to make, so they'll probably just be short novellas

So, true to my word, I completed the opening story of 'Spider-Man '98', I'm happy with how it turned out, I just hope I can commit to my 13-episode 'season'.
