Poor Image: Kick Them While They Are Down

I get the appeal of the image (the trope is a metaphorical subtrope of Kick the Dog) but the image just looks like it's Kick the Dog. The dog is clearly dead, but it doesn't do a great job of making it clear it was already dead before kicking.

Yeah, that is at best a so-so image.

Image is so-so, but so-so isn't bad enough for a pull. Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

The only one that I'd give a to is the first (that one with the kids is really kinda disturbing) and I think I still prefer the current.

No to 7.4 because of quality issues, and I expect people to have problems with 7.3 as it looks like actual child abuse.

7.1 maybe, but I don't think the current is really that bad.

I think 7.1 is on par with the current, and I don't like the other suggestions.

I prefer 7.1 to the current, because the current looks like Beating A Dead Horse to me (note that the dog in the pic is already dead). It's rather different in terms of story whether you're hurting somebody who cannot defend himself, or kicking an unfeeling corpse around. So I feel 7.1 illustrates the trope better.

How does 7.1 look at wiki size?
