dark ambient recs

I was wondering what dark ambient artists go for.

I don't listen to much dark ambient, but I like The Haxan Cloak's Excavation album.

Anything from the Cold Meat Industry label is pretty good. Atrium Carceri, Deserderii Marginis, and raison d'etre are a few of the more widely-known artists that I would recommend.

Check out Bad Sector's Ampos and Lustmord's Heresy — a couple of decent albums to start your exploration of dark ambient.
