The extra is a bit small an unemphasised, but the image works.
Check out my fanfiction!Works pending something else.
But does it fit the trope? It seems to require that the "extra" episode is made entirely for the DVD. Is that the case here?
(And is it just me, or is this an awful name, unless it's a common fandom term I haven't heard before?)
It isn't just you.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableYeah, that name really isn't intuitive.
I don't like how the title seems to discourage adding DVDs that would contain either more or fewer than 12 episodes if you remove the unaired one.

Could we enlarge the "Includes never before seen super cool episode" part?
What are the white spots around the "never seen before" text?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanJPG artifacts
Then I will downvote that pending removal/reduction of these artifacts.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI still see a possible contradiction between "never before seen" and "first time on DVD or video." Did the ep actually air somewhere or not?
Yes.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCan I ask one more time for knowledge of whether this pic is actually an example? :)
"bonus episode is included with the DVD release of a series" - so "never seen before" would fit, apparently.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanTo my understanding, yes. The important part isn't the numbers, just the DVD-extra. Actual numbers are more tied to the TV schedule process, but there's naturally some variance there.
Check out my fanfiction! In response to the question about whether or not the episode actually aired: It did, but about a year after the DVD came out.
OK, so it is an example. Thank you. :)
An extra that hasn't aired anywhere else. The label language made me think it was trying to weasel, which is why I asked.

Anyone else?
Fourteen looks good.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes. One or two more votes for 14 and we can run with it.
Suggesting a DVD cover that proclaims the inclusion of an unaired episode within.
