The trope isn't just about the bra, though. It illustrates.
Check out my fanfiction!Look at the cutout on the side of her pants and the cut of her top along the side and back. Nothing there. This is a prime keeper.

The top could be hiding a bra, yes, but those pants make it quite clear that there's no lower-body underwear of any kind. Therefore it is both an example and an illustration, without being so explicit as to invite an image-escalation.
Keep.

No, that's exactly the type of picture that will lead to an image-escalation war, as people decide that it isn't risque enough.
The current one is excellent at demonstrating the trope without being masturbation-fodder.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanPast precedent; it's why some of the fanservicey tropes are tagged for "no image".

Normally I'm loathe to invoke mod fiat in here, but the OP's reasons against the pic are invalid and anything else potentially runs the risk of leading to the scenario Maddy mentioned, so I'm shutting this down.

Current pic does not demonstrate this trope, and may even not fit the laconic (isn't wearing a bra, yet she is/can wearing one that's hidden). The pic under the image links actually demonstrate this. Also, wearing only a bra/underwear isn't this trope.
