I haven't posted very often here, and I probably should,
I just got mastery rank 7, and almost all of my warframes are level 30. I have every assault rifle, shotgun, sniper, most of the pistols and some of the melee weapons to level 30.
All are potatoed. :3
This is not me showing off, this is just so that I can say that I can give advice, or help out those in game that need help with leveling or constructing a build of mods, or grinding for a material.
A tiger doesn't lose sleep, over the opinions of sheep. How can you be only mastery rank 7 with all Warframe maxed? I'm at 7 warframe and a couple of weapon and I already reached mastery 6.
Anyhow, have you tried the Grakata?
Giving it a try ATM, and I'm not all that impressed by what I see.
Have you tried building crit on it? I haven't used it, but common sense would dictate that a high crit chance and crit damage would work well on a weapon that shoots that fast and can thus "roll" for crits constantly.
Tried that first actually. It was awful, barely ever critted, even with maxed point strike, and it did piss damage even then.
Right now, I modded in cryo round and high level Serration and works somewhat better.
Yeah the MG is over rated. AR's you can get are better.
Who watches the watchmen?Vauban is announced for this friday, not necessarly with update 8.
Vauban is also known as "Enginer Frame" and is focused on traps and tactical abilities.
Perso I find the frame a bit... Goofy, but I wanna see him in game before judging.
Hmmm, getting the parts from Alerts could be bad.
As an aside, when people say the Alert system is broken, what are they referring to?
Also, IIRC they said update 8 would come "in more than a week but less than two" right? So...Monday?

Pretty bad if you ask me. Bleh.
Also, what kind of broken, functionnally or balance-wise? If its functionnally, then it needs to be fixed. If it's balance, well it could be dismissed as QQ'ing because they want stuff, or they could be right and the system needs a tweak.
I'm not sure which they mean. There seems to be some complaint about Alert rewards, but I'm not sure what the actual problem is. Probably the possibility of having to wait forever in the hopes of the Alert system having a part up A) when you can play, and B) that you actually need.
A lot of people really don't like getting the new frame through Alerts, though.
Alerts are pretty cruel to begin with, they randomly appear, they randomly give stuff (or not) and the reward is chosen randomly from a fairly large pool of objects.
So very, very random.
So we can chillax a bit.
Haha, the only Banshee part I still need is the helmet. Guess what I just missed getting due to not having Uranus cleared like I thought it was?
Missions alert don't give that kind of helmet, they give the re-skin one, so not useful for crafting a new frame.
But yeah, I missed it too because I was chatting with my bro. DAM IT BRO!
You sure? Usually the alert actually names the helmet, like when I got my Coil helmet blueprint it called it the Coil blueprint, not the mag helmet blueprint.
Either way, I missed it and I am sad.
I'm reading about some of the earlier incarnations of Warframe, and I see they've changed some things that actually sounded neat. Like, weapons used to have upgrade paths as they leveled up in addition to mods, and Thief Wit used to actually increase your chances of finding items as opposed to being comparatively useless now. I kind of wish they'd kept those things in.
Are you using Twitter? Cause I don't think Twitter uses the name. For example, the Menticide helm was just called "Nyx Helmet" on their Twitter account. Beside, the wikia has this to say about Banshee's drop: "Can't be obtained from Alert missions as they don't yield completion reward. Mystery Alerts only drop the alternative helmet."
As for the different design choice, I think they said in the 3 livestream that they preferred mods to skill tree because with the latter, when you're done, you're done. With mods, at least you can swap your mods from one weapon to the other and the upgrades feels less linear.
You can argue that some mods are less useful than other for sure, but they'll probably change it if it really needs love. If you feel particularly adventurous, I imagine you could try posting suggestions on the forums and hope that devs reads it (they do reads the forums). But there's a lot of people over there and not everyone agree on everything, so the devs get a lot of suggestions.
Hmmm. Guess whoever posted the alert on Twitter mistyped, because my Coil helmet was definitely called a Coil helmet on the Twitter feed. Ah well.
I'm not too broken up about the weapon progression, but Thief's Wit at least needs to add blueprints and mods to the list of things that it shows on the mini map.
Metal Alloys done with. I need more Rubedo and the sensor though.
Finally got the flame mod for my sword.
Who watches the watchmen?YES GOT THE NEURAL SENSOR!!!
Who watches the watchmen?Don't wanna break your fun, but these aren't so rare, they're common drops from the right boss.
In other news, the new (or rather, converted) "find a clan" official subforum is... something. I don't know what it is but it's definitely something.
Except that particular boss is apparently a stingy bastard. One drop in 4 out of 5 runs. Of course I get that one sensor and then I get two more from random lockers.
Who watches the watchmen?RNG for the win!
Rubedo is busting my balls still because I need 500 Rubedo.
Over half way on Rubedo for the Rhino helm. Also going to need a bunch of credits. I will have Wyrm ready well before I get that helm.

Who watches the watchmen?Glaive Blueprint up in an alert on Sedna, 40 minutes to go.
Glaive get!
Goddammit, of all the days for the alert to go it's on senior awards night!
I got the last two, thankfully. The first one I only had six minutes to spare, so I was lucky.
