[up] I tried it and it was kind of a pain honestly. Their invisibility went haywire and they would freak out about every single enemy, so tracking them was a pain. Our favored method was to CC them with Atlas or Vauban, whichever frame with strong CC and reach.

According to informants and Rebecca, a pre-War Within information campaign is to start this week.

The objective is to help everyone hit the ground running as much as possible for the new quest, considering the delay.

Since I feel in a generous mood, I'm open to helping people unlock their junctions for The War Within. Let me know if you need help to get through a hard spot or want company. Although odds are that PU Gs are going to be more abundant over the next week.

[up]Unlocking the Sedna junction...bah.

I hope they add new content soon, I am already getting burned out for this game.

I used Night Equinox to get cat scans for the Incubator part. I still need to get more for the cat itself, but fuck that noise.

Does anyone remember their first hundred days?

I sure as hell don't...

So accurate it hurts.

I do remember some of it, specially how at the beginning using cover and singling out specific enemies mattered a lot while unlocking node, because you didn't have the weapon and warframe mods to scale the damage.

Oh gee, I can hardly remember the first 100 days of the new login system, much less the first 100 days three years ago.

What's more, the trailer for 100 Days of Warframe was released like 3-4 months ago.

You might very well have done your first 100 days of Warframe in that time!

sad thing was...i started not long after the game had originally been released...I've played on and off but wasn't too seriously into it until after Limbo first came out, I think.

I vaguely recall like the intro quest mission, and that's about it of my first 100 days. Like I didn't do much of the questing stuff, til like a year ago. Despite having started Warframe 2ish years ago.

I do know, that the getting fancy accessories part still hasn't happened for me =P

I'm curious now to see how long my first break was and when I started in the first place. Time to trawl this thread.

I remember having to choose which ability mod I had to use and which one I'd forma out before the update because some skills weren't really useful most of the time and how difficult was to finish Survival missions alone because my match making was set for South America, which was devoid of players.

I feel like my first 100 days in game were achieved in less than 130 days of real life. Yeah, I liked my first 100 days... after second mission. Funny how I was contemplating deleting Warframe after first.

[up] That remind me how I tried to introduce my brother to the game and ended up micromanaging him too much and turning him off the game. He eventually picked it up again on his own and enjoyed it more.

Guess I'm bad at selling concepts to people.

The Halloween swag is out.

Basically, nightmare mode is back with three new mods (melee combo/status up, shotgun reload/cold up, Warframe slide/swap speed up), a bunch of cosmetic on the market, a tactical alert for Halloween, a three day resource booster to open at your leisure, another double credit week end.

Quite the busy week end ahead.

I remember a bit of my first hundred days. Sicon was going FULL ASH, Galatine was the meta for melee weapons, I randomly encountered some guy with a Soma and was impressed by the sound it made when it fired, everything was all dark and mysterious, Sentinels looked cool (I started with Dethcube, therefore I had DPS yaaaay), Oberon had just come out, my computer was having heating issues and I only got it fixed in time for me to do The Cicero Crisis hours before it ended (Sicon was able to pretty much solo a 400% run as it turned out), Yarizui was enjoying the existence of punchy-fist mode, Vectis and Penta were my personal endgame, our clan had pretty much nothing, I basically derped my way through void farming, I think Darvo's lore and Oxium became a thing around then...

And, of course, the bosses. Uncle Hek was a thing. Sargas Ruk was amazing. The Jackal can still go fuck itself.

Good times. Good times.

I kinda miss the old menu screen and level-up sounds.

but HOW?

Overview of the Devstream # 82.

Highlights:

  • Reveal of new Bard Warframe visuals. We also know it can compose some customized music.
  • Reveal of new deluxe Mag skin, for all 3 Mag players.
  • Newest addition of Tennogen.
  • New gamemode post-TWW.

There are also some QA.

Don't forget to take part in the Halloween event for free stuff and the double affinity week end (quad if you have a booster).

The Halloween event is kind of eh. On one hand I do like the take all weapons away and force you to go hth, on the other hand, not a fan of the axing health and shield scores, and making it very very difficult to revive your fellow downed tenno.

Apropos Halloween event, any tips on beating Time Attack? Aside from running a build like this guy's, I mean.

It only took me 2 tries thanks the guy I was with not being an idiot, so we coordinated to bait the jackernaught into the fires with no problem.

Getting the Powercells to open the next area is easy if you pair up with another tenno to ground slam while you hack the terminal.

sadly or not to make in time you will actually need some teamwork to succeed.

I duo'd it fairly easily with my brother.

I was using Nekros with Despoil so I had health topped off pretty easily (due to his passive more than anything). From there, you basically just rush through the level, dodge the Jack-O-naut until it's beside a fire pumkin stack and burn him.

My brother had Inaros, making him fairly independent in regards to revives.

So I'm reinstalling the game. Missions or anything cool I missed since, huh, update 17? Will I be met with crippling sadness if I go to my old usual loadout of Valkyr, Scindo P and Braton P? Has grinding been reduced? Because I'm not going back to the levels I did it before.

Did I remember to put my doggy in stasis? Hmm...

Mhhh, unless you have stopped before U17, you did not miss THAT much stuff. I mean, other than Second Dream, which is actually a pretty huge thing to miss, but I thought you'd have missed a lot more than that.

Based on that update log, you should be able to re-integrate fast.

Ideally you'd do the Second Dream quest ASAP, since it's basically the biggest quest so far and the next update will be a direct continuation of the quest. The "War Within" update should drop sometime this year, optimist figures put it at november 9th.

[up] Oooh, that post is useful. Not as much information as I'd like, but good enough. I'll look up on that mission, but game's running worse than I remember though, probably time for cleaning up the laptop.

And yes, I got sad seeing Valkyr. That nerf to Hysteria is... baffling to say the least. I mean, I just read some about it and I get the why (I preferred an Eternal War build anyway), but seems excessive.

That hammer from the Cephalon syndicate seems pretty nice. I never was able to scan even a rheumatic fly, so maybe its worth the points just for the utility. And those resource nodes are neat. I got two neurodes in just one low level sabotage mission that took me 10 minutes, which is more than I could say for farming defense maps back in the day.

Is that TVT clan still a thing? I'm thinking of leaving mine, seems like nobody there plays anymore.

I think the Troper clan is pretty ded. Not that I can speak, the clan I'm in is also pretty ded, thanks to TWW overhype.
Also the regular Heliocor (you can get the BP from Cephalon Nosenseofpersonalspace Simaris) is better than the Synoid Heliocor because it's a crit weapon.

[up] We have a few valiant souls that are playing mostly on their own. Bless their souls, they help with the pigment collect and start the researches.

[up][up] The clan still exists structurally, but it's true that most clans have lost some of their playerbase.

The reason why is partly because of burnout, partly because of habits (solo players used to quick missions) and partly because people have different objectives and grouping with clanmates might actually be distracting you from your goal.

All the same, we lucky few would have you, if you wish it.

I pop in every now and then still, been playing a bit more due to the event, but between Overwatch and me starting my live streaming back up, I haven't really been able to focus on warframe. Which is a shame, because I'm missing out on that double affinity at the moment.
