Designing a team of sci-fi tech-ninja:

O' Allah, save Egypt
I'm working on a part-Science Fiction part-many-other-genres story set in the "near future" of late 21st century, that centers around a six-person team of modern ninjas who adapt the traditional roots of the shinobi ways with cutting/bleeding-edge hi-tech (like form-fitting Powered Armor and Vibroweapons) — the concept is inspired by the Cyborg Ninja from Metal Gear Solid and Cyborg Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance'' (and to a somewhat lesser extent, Sam and the Winds of Destruction from the latter).

Right now, I'm trying to give each one a somewhat distinct role within the team while allowing for each of them to be effectively a One-Man Army against ordinary Mooks / Red Shirts, and so far I have the following things pretty much set:

Current problems include:
  • Choosing melee signature weapons; The Leader is most probably going to get a standard Japanese sword, so that one's covered. Would it be fitting to give the sniper a naginata-styled vibroweapon?
  • Choosing ranged signature weapons. In particular, any suggestions as to how to make a high-tech sniper rifle fit the ninja theme (as a modern stand-in for bow-and-arrow weapons)? Maybe a sci-fi crossbow-like mechanism for extraordinarily powerful shots?
  • Choosing Animal Motifs for the remaining members.
  • I'm not sure whether I should make The Big Guy a Mighty Glacier or a Lightning Bruiser.

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
