Suggestion: OOC Is Serious Business

Oh—this is about the OOC-ness of the white character? I didn't gather that at all from the image. It focuses entirely on the black character. I didn't even notice that it was the white character saying "gotcha, sucker". I'm sorry, this is a poor image. I know you're really invested in putting an image up, but it's not a good one.

Wait, you didn't see that the character who was speaking is the one towards whom the speech bubble is pointing? I'm not sure what to tell you, that's who speech bubbles work in the medium of comics.

I'm with Helter on this one. The text pulls all the weight, and if you're not familiar with OOTS, then its hard to tell who's acting out of character. I like the comic, myself, but it does suffer from a bad case of Fan Myopia. I appreciate that you're willing to put in that much work for IP, but it still doesn't make it a good image.

Nay, all you need is basic knowledge of psychology to see that.

Or it could be because the image and therefore text is tiny, and the speech bubbles are very confused. It doesn't help that the black character is taking up most of the characterization in that panel, so I assumed we were talking about him, since the other character only has a few lines. When he says "Gaah!" I assumed it was because he was freaking out, not because the other guy was so OOC.

I'm sorry, I think it's a poor image. Being really defensive about it isn't helping, Thecommander.

They're mouths are opened when they're talking. Check out m8e post on 59.

I've seen all the versions. It's very text-heavy and it was hard for me to read. And their mouths are opened in every panel but one.
