"Wildest Dreams" is very much a generic drivel song. It's better than "Cool For The Summer" but that's hardly what you'd call praise.
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."See, I feel the exact opposite way. It's a welcome antidote to tripe like "Bad Blood".
Peace is the only battle worth waging.I definitely like "Wildest Dreams" more than "Bad Blood". I don't like either of them that much, but if I had to listen to one, give me Wildest Dreams.
Also, not a big fan of the current Top 10. I like "Can't Feel My Face", but that's about it.
Huh. Someone's starting to veer into "adult" territory here.
The song isn't half bad either.
Disclosure and Lorde, now there's a match made in heaven. Their albums were the best things the top 40 had to offer in 2013.
I quite like that. I think the music works very well Lorde's vocals.
Not a Lorde fan, but that's pretty good.
Peace is the only battle worth waging.Just another Canadian male solo artist (Shawn Mendes) to help take up half of the top ten. At least it seems easier for songs to climb into said tier now.
Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 (October 17, 2015):
1. The Weeknd — "The Hills" (3 weeks at #1)
2. Justin Bieber — "What Do You Mean?"
3. Drake — "Hotline Bling"
4. The Weeknd — "Can't Feel My Face"
5. Fetty Wap featuring Remy Boyz — "679"
6. R. City featuring Adam Levine — "Locked Away"
7. Silentó — "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)"
8. Taylor Swift — "Wildest Dreams"
9. Shawn Mendes — "Stitches" (new entry)
10. Selena Gomez featuring A$AP Rocky — "Good for You"
Songs outside the Top 10:
15. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Eric Nally, Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee, and Grandmaster Caz — "Downtown"
18. X Ambassadors — "Renegades"
20. One Direction — "Drag Me Down"
I sense "Renegades" becoming the next sleeper alternative crossover. It'll likely peak at the beginning or the spring of 2016.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. Is the first time half of the Top 10 is Canadian?
Peace is the only battle worth waging."Renegades" is okay. I'd welcome it to the Top 10 just for the sake of variety.
Major Lazer, Sam Smith, Hozier, Imagine Dragons and Duran freaking Duran dropped new tracks.
Peace is the only battle worth waging."Pressure Off" is pretty good and catchy, though I feel it might be more to the credit of Monáe and Rodgers rather than the band itself. "Powerful" is AMAZING (I saw that one last summer performed twice, by both of the artists involved), I think that along with "Lean On" it's the best song off "Peace is the Mission".
The Imagine Dragons song made me go "Hey that's the one they performed in the Muppets!" On the spectrum of ID songs I'd say it ranks somewhere near "Demons", which here translates to "Boring."
Don't really care for Hozier, even less for Smith's solo material.

I listened to Powerful . And it's AWESOME.
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..Slow week this week. Apparently it was this video that caused "Watch Me"'s gain here.
Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 (October 24, 2015):

15. iLoveMemphis — "Hit the Quan"
16. Drake and Future — "Jumpman"
16. Drake and Future — "Jumpman"
Glad to see someone is taking up the mantle left behind by Buckner And Garcia.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Meh. "Stitches" goes top five, not much else happens in the top ten. "The Hills" does stay at #1 (and has been so for all for the October chart month) thanks to the Eminem and Nicki Minaj remixes. I'm surprised that it may possibly have as much longevity in the top ten as "Can't Feel My Face," but it likely won't stay for as long after it drops off because it doesn't quite have the hot AC appeal the other song has. And "Hotline Bling"'s video is coming out soon, which may help bring it to number one next week.
So, yeah, expect all of the turnover to occur next week.
Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 (October 31, 2015):
1. The Weeknd — "The Hills" (5 weeks at #1)
2. Drake — "Hotline Bling"
3. Justin Bieber — "What Do You Mean?"
4. Fetty Wap featuring Remy Boyz — "679"
5. Shawn Mendes — "Stitches"
6. Taylor Swift — "Wildest Dreams"

13. Drake and Future — "Jumpman"
16. Elle King — "Ex's and Oh's"
18. Selena Gomez — "Same Old Love"
Will "Wildest Dreams" be blocked out of the top five the same way "Style" was? We'll have to see in the coming weeks.

Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Well, "Watch Me" fell several slots, so thats good. Still not falling fast enough.
I barely even hear "Watch Me" on the radio lately. What's keeping it propped up? Everything else on that list gets far more airtime.
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."I think Watch Me is mostly held up by streaming, if what I've heard is correct. I've only heard it on the radio once.
"And kung fu is a terrible way to run a company" - alliteratorIt gets more airplay in my area than "679".
Peace is the only battle worth waging."Watch Me" will likely drop out two weeks from now, if not next week. It was a viral video that caused it to re-enter the top five last week.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Vine should not count toward streaming sales.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.A bit indifferent myself but there'll probably be some rather notable numbers coming up shortly.
At last, Taylor Swift has made it.
