Crossover RP - The Great Race

Demolition derby meets crossover meets role playing. I've had this little idea for an RP for a while and I really hope it'll work. If you're not a racing/demolition derby fan, don't worry. There's something here for you too. Please keep reading.

The premise is simple. Mr. Go, an enigmatic, mysterious sort, has offered the reward of a lifetime to anybody who wins his infamous "race." Mr. Go sets up three racetracks around the world. 1st place is worth one point, 2nd place is worth two points and so on. It's supposedly simple; the person with the least points at the end of three races wins the Mr. Go's Racing Cup and the reward of a lifetime. This reward is one wish that Mr. Go will grant.

Sounds easy, no? Well, think again. There are some desperate souls that want their lifetime wish to be granted. Before each race, the competitors will be staying at a fancy hotel in Chicago that Mr. Go owns. The hotel has everything; a pool, tennis courts, an arcade, an armoury, an auto repair shop, etc. Despite all of this luxury, Mr. Go's hotel is not the safest place to be if you are a competitor. Other players will be gunning for them and since the only rule in this cup is to win, they're not breaking any rules by killing you. You also can't leave the hotel before the race, which ensures that only the strongest will survive. This "no-rules" policy extends to the racetrack as well; as long as you finish first, you're fine.

So, do you think you can brave death, destruction, and other players? If so, post your signups here. I'll need a name, age, backstory, powers/abilities (if any), vehicle, and anything else you see fit to add. Since this is a crossover RP, no OC's I'm afraid. If you have any questions, shoot me a PM and I'll be happy to answer them for you.

Oh, and your vehicle doesn't necessarily have to be a car. You can use a horse, a plane, a rickshaw or whatever you see fit. Don't worry about how fast it goes because I'll be implementing some system to compensate for low speed and/or weak vehicles.

Also, make sure that your vehicle, whatever you pick, is canonical. For example, if there was an action figure out there somewhere that showed the Easter Bunny on a motorcycle, then I'd allow you to play as that. It doesn't have to be just action figures, either. As long as you've seen the vehicle in a TV episode or somewhere, I'll allow you to play as it.

• Backstory: A long time ago, Goldo and six others went out to kill the Overlord, an oppressive tyrant and succeeded in doing so. However later each of the seven heroes fell victim to one of the seven mortal sins. Goldo has succumbed to the sin of greed, hoarding gold and even having captured all elves to force them to work in his gold mines.
• Powers/Abilities: He carries a battleaxe and has a huge amount of gold
• Vehicle: Rollie◊, Goldo's beloved "pet", a vehicle with a large spiked roller and flamethrower in the front.

This could be fun. Given the title and theme, I think there's only one character I can play as.

Name: PROFESSOR FATE!
Age: Late thirties
Appearance: Always wears a black suit and top hat. Dark hair, average height, wiry build. Possesses a traditional villain mustache.
Backstory: He has already won one Great Race against his rival The Great Leslie. However, that victory seems hollow as his opponent allowed him to win to prove a point. He's constantly in search of a way to earn respect.
Powers: None really. He's a mad scientist capable of making remarkable things, and he's surprisingly durable, being able to survive cartoonish accidents. Beyond that, he's just an ordinary guy. He also has a slightly inept assistant named Max.
Vehicle: A heavily-modified vehicle that resembles an early automobile. It has a number of "interesting features," including a superheated retracting snowplow, and a cannon.
Wish: To be considered THE GREATEST MAD SCIENTIST TO EVER LIVE!

Backstory: He played SBURB, a game that destroyed the world, and became a god in the process. He had many friends in the game with him, who witnessed his growth as a person.

Powers/Abilities: DO THE WINDY THING

Vehicle: BEEP It can also fly, with the power of the windy thing.

Wish: To bring his dad back from the dead.

Well, I'll probably SU as Duke Maguire (Don't worry if you've never heard of him), who has a litany of the world's fastest (and definitely NOT built for vehicular combat) real-world cars at his disposal. Just need to take some snaps with Forza Horizon beforehand.
