Anyone know what the hell is going on with PSN at the moment? I can't log in to FFXIV (error message NP-36147-1), and it seems many others are having similar problems. Certain things are unaffected for some reason, I can see my friends list and send messages to them (one person claims they've been able to log in to FFXIV, so I don't see why it's still not letting me).
Looks like I bought a PS 4 just in time to be greeted with a swarm of Maintenance downtimes and online errors. Joy.
Bleye knows Sabers. They do seem to be having problems lately. It's been down twice in the last week or so for me (haven't been on yet today).
The matchmaking for Rocket League has been kind of iffy. I was only able to try out online just this morning. It's a lot of fun though.
I got on FFXIV with no issues earlier, so things are fine for me.

Now I really want a Morpheus. Like, a lot.
And now there's a video of it.

After a lot of rumors, the North American price cut is official: 50 USD and 20 CAD less.
So Canada is still paying $30 more than we did on launch day.
Indeed they are but Canadian Dollars are worth a bit less than American Dollars.
Dunno the exact exchange rate though.
Oh really when?Here's the problem.
Several years ago (let's say 25-30), book prices were raised for similar reasons. They've never gone back down. Our dollar has been on par with, or stronger than, the American dollar from time to time, but we consistently pay ~20% more for books.
I have a feeling this is the same situation. Major game releases are now $80 up here. And that marks the end of me buying games on day one ever again. I was willing to make a couple exceptions for games I was exceptionally interested in when they were $70, but I'm not paying $80 for a game before tax.

So, I saw a trailer for a game on the PS 4 demo station in a Gamestop that I thought looked good, but I didn't catch the name, due to the font being hard to decipher.
It was some sort of 2-D platformer where the characters were Goomba Stomping a seemingly endless stream of enemies to stay above a bottomless pit, as well as fighting a giant flying serpent Shadow Of The Colossus style by stabbing it in the skull while clinging on. There were also a bunch of shots of them sky-diving towards an enormous horde of such flying serpents swarming in the atmosphere.
Anyone know what this game is?

I have a message from another time...What did the player character look like?
There were two. A young black lady, and some white guy with a sword across his back.
I have a message from another time...Sounds like Broken Age
No, the guy was older than that. and blonde, I think. And I think Broken Age is an adventure game, not a platformer.
I think the title was two words, and the second word was "night". Couldn't decipher the first word.
I have a message from another time...I took a shot. :P
Thanks for trying anyway.
I have a message from another time...What was the visual aesthetic?
Kind of cartoonsh. Lotta bright colors, and the player character sprites had kind of short proportions.
I have a message from another time...You're sure it was on PS 4?
I'm sure I saw it on the PS 4 display, anyway. Entirely possible I misinterpreted something.

I have a message from another time...Because I can't find any game that fits this description. At all. There is no upcoming or recently released 2D platformer on PS 4 that sounds even remotely like this.
Goes to show how important early word of mouth is.
